    Pros +

    • We staid there for overnight coming from Bastia to Ajaccio and nedded a stop after trip from Italy by car.Its a very nice and clean place, staff is very friendly.Considering very good price. It has it all
    • Free private parking
    • The room was average, a little stinky sink in the bathroom was bothering us a bit. For couple of nights it is an okay hotel, nothing special. The community vibe around the hotel was nice and the location and their backyard very cute!

    Cons -

    • All was very good.Great value For money
    • Walls must be paper-thin. Be prepared to almost "cohabit" with the hosts in rooms next to yours, to sleep with the latest sleeper and wake up with the earliest.
    • There is no air-conditioning, only fan in the room. I don't know how is this possible, but when we opened the window, no fresh air would come in, no matter what. So it was more fresh outside than inside of the room. The sleeping was therefore bad because of bad air (hot and humid)

10 min drive from Corte. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly. We didn't have breakfast, but it was nice to sit in front of hotel in the morning with good coffee from the pub. The hotel also has billiard table, table tennis, bowling,.. lots to do with kids.

Great place in the heart of Corse perfect to enjouy the real island atmosphere. Close by nice trekking routes and Corte.

Friendly girl at the bar/reception. Authentic atmosphere

Smell in the room and bathroom due to old structure and presence of humidity on the ceiling (bathroom). When we booked we were aware about the basic look of rooms but the bathroom is very old and pieces of the deco broken (via Booking, we received confirmation of a different room with renovated bathroom which did not correspond to what we got).

Nice cozy place. Family atmosfere. Helpful stuff.

    7ClaraPosted on: 5-10-2024

Nice location surrounded by nature. Good restaurant nearby

The room is basic but it has what you need. There was a bit of mould.

Breakfast, calm but close to main road and Corte

Great value for money.Friendly, family run hotel.Good breakfast & dinner options. Good for vegetarians & meat eaters. Bar with shaded area outside.Helpful staff giving advice & offering transport assistance when possible. Lovely experience overall.

    Nothing to complain about.

    Good price And friendly staff

The building And the rooms needed a renovation

the location was great - in the mountains, the breakfast (that I paid extra) was ok, but could be better

The water in the bathroom was very slow, it got stucked and took long tome when it was away

Very friendly staff, a nice restaurant option in a village close by, a friendly bunch of people gathered in the courtyard around the bar

A bit outdated rooms with some small things which could get fixed and do not need big investment. Could think of a bigger renovation, but obviously prices would have to be higher.

Very quiet place. Ping pong, petanque, and soccer ball were available for free..Good breakfast. Friendly staff.. Good value for money. Possibility to have a drink outside under the shade of trees.

Absence of good ventilation in the bathroom.

The property is beautiful, but a bit away from amenities. That said, the staff took great care providing for guests. Amazing, really. The on-site bar and outdoor space are fabulous. Breakfast was nice. For evening meals the staff helped you get to local restaurants all more than walking distance.

Shower was perfectly serviceable, but could use a deep clean.

    7LangenbergPosted on: 7-9-2023

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are simple and clean. Breakfast was decent with tasty croissants and bread, though there was soured milk around.

It was a pity that we could not have dinner at the place itself, but the dinner was made available at a near-by restaurant (Auberge Casa Mathea) of the same staff. With limited resources they did an amazing job but they could clearly use some help to speed things up at the restaurant. The hotel is in a beautiful spot and could be (or once was?) a wonderful place, however resources seem to lack to maintain the property.Note that the address in booking.com is incorrect or incomplete; locate the hotel on Google maps yourself to navigate correctly.

the people were super friendly and spoke good English, that was a first for is in Corsica! breakfast was wonderful.

the bathroom was very old, and can probably need a renovation, but the water was warm and everything worked, so all good for us!

Unfussy family-run hotel in amazing scenery right in the heart of the National Park. Clean and comfortable accommodation and, when the restaurant is open, excellent home-cooked food. Fantastic hiking to be had along the Chemins des Bergers waymarked trail, accessible virtually from the doorstep.

I was travelling Corsica by train, and the hotel is a 1-hour (very uphill) walk from either of the two nearby stations. There are no buses or taxis. It came as a shock, after several hours hiking in the mountains, to return to the hotel hungry and tired, and discover there is no restaurant service at all on Sunday. I was given no warning of this, and it does not seem to be mentioned in any of the hotel's publicity. The nearest place open for food was a café/bar with a basic menu, in the neighbouring village, a further 20 minute (downhill) walk away.

Very nice place, great staff with a lot of good recommendations! Peaceful place, great views and food!

    10GrzegorzPosted on: 5-13-2023

The host is very friendly and helpful. There is a day room with billiards, table football and darts. Outside is located ping pong. That’s why it was the best off all hotela for our group.
