    Pros +

    • This hotel was without a doubt the perfect choice. Location can’t be any better, walking distance to everywhere, Napoleon’s childhood house was literally the next street. Amazing view of Ajaccio coastline from the room. Rooms are brand new and clean, also from slippers to shampoos, it includes everything you need. Restaurant on the terrace was amazing. Staff is very friendly. Thank you for the experience.
    • Modern design, spacious room, new fixtures.Location of the hotel.Ita rooftop bar restaurant.
    • Location amazing, views wonderful, upper restaurant delicious and great views. Beds very comfy, loved separate toilet from shower, great coffee and treats in the room.

    Cons -

    • Nothing. It is flawless.
    • Very small lift.
    • Need a work out room. No one told us they had beach towels which would have been very welcome. Staff in restaurant really jumpy and panicked about reservations but many never showed up and there seemed to be plenty of space so much concern over nothing. More inside bar tables could be added as there is a lot of empty floor space. Bar service side should be back of bar, not front as front should be filled with bar stools which makes it more lively and increases revenue.

A 1-2 minute walk from a lovely beach area accessed by stairs - with all the other amenities of the historic center at the hotel’s doorstep. We parked our rental car in a lot about 5 minutes walk away down the street, which was fine. We also used a laundromat a 5 minute walk away, conveniently located at the marina - you can relax with a beverage while waiting for your clothes to wash/dry!

    No concerns.

The staff, the facilities, the breakfasts, the attention to detail. Everything about this hotel is first class! From the moment you check in, until you check out, you feel like you are in a home away from home.

Great location - plenty of bars and restaurants around the corner. Helpful staff. Room was spotless and a great view. Bathroom was a great size. Had a great roof too bar with a view of the water where breakfast was served.

For the price I would have liked breakfast included instead had to pay an additional amount.

Staff very friendly, location excellent although our room was on the back side.

Breakfast very expensive. Parking slot very expensive.

Location excellent. Use of courtesy room before leaving. Excellent breakfast on top floor, fabulous views.

Room too small. Open hanging rail and no cupboards either, just open shelves. Clean and dirty clothes all on display. No outdoor space.Reception staff were not very friendly.

Very friendly staff. Room became available at 2pm via WhatsApp message. Great rooftop bar, very good breakfast. Hotel recently renovated so everything new. Able to store bags, use toilets after checkout.

    Not cheap

The staff in the breakfast room were very busy and helpful. The staff in the bar were also very good. The bar on 5th floor had a relaxing outlook, especially with the windows open and a good cocktail menu (although the menu in the bedroom did not match the one in the bar). The range of items at breakfàst was good.

We arrived at 15.30 and were happy to wait until 16.00 when the room was available. However, it wasn't ready then. We were given a voucher for a drink (only wine or beer) in the bar while we waited and were told we would be summoned when the room was ready. This did not happen and we had to go to reception again at 17.00. The reception staff were quite rude and aloof and did not once apologise for the delay. The room was tiny with no outlook onto a back street. There was not even room to put your bag! The bathroom required careful negotiation because of it's size. The breakfast room was too small for the number of guests so on the day we checked out and caught a plane, we had to wait to be seated and eat. This meant the experience was very rushed. The room had a bottle of water on the side which appeared to be complimentary and wasn't - this is very unclear. We had to pay 50€ to cover any additional costs but then had to pay for the additional costs in the bar ontop. We were told this would be refunded the afternoon of check out and the next day it has still not been refunded. I think the hotel was understaffed. The scrambled eggs were very watery and tasteless. It would be nice to have some tea bags available in the room. We couldn't get the lights either side of the mirror to work and the electrics in the room were a bit strange as you could turn the bathroom light off from beside the bed but not turn it back on!

    Rooftop

Very poor value for money for the room 118 first floor. Very humid, no light.

    6BrunaPosted on: 9-13-2024

Very good location if you’re planning to visit the Citadelle and museums, and modern decor.

Very bad value for money. No parking lot (you need to use the public one that is 400m away — major inconvenience on a rainy day with suitcases paying 20 euro per day) and no facilities other than the room. 20 euro for breakfast per person. You’ll end up paying 60+ euro above reservation prices for a hotel with no gym, pool, sauna or any other facilities besides your room. And, compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at in Corsica, this hotel is on the more expensive range.

Lovely hotel, nice staff, panoramic bar was a bonus. Close to the beach, restaurants and the port.

Mattress to hard for our liking. Bar was closed on Sunday night.

Amazing location in the middle of the old city in Ajaccio. Loved the rooftop patio, great for drinks!
