    Pros +

    • Amazing and very rich breakfast!Cozy, Beautiful surrounding garden.
    • The location is idyllic. I enjoyed walking outside with my family and with our dog. Speaking of the dogs, these are treated especially well. Our dog even received a treat package upon check-in. The parking was quite spacious, too. The receptionist lady was very friendly (unfortunately, the others were not as much).
    • Bed was comfortable, room was clean. It would be fine if there is kettle or coffee machine in the room. You need to walk around 20-30 minutes if you use bus. You are better if you go there by bicycle or car

    Cons -

    • The receptionist didn't speak English so it was a bit hard to communicate, though other guests were friendly and helped with the translation. Also - there's nowhere to buy food after 9 pm in the area (as it is a bit of a rural area).Facilities are a bit old.
    • You can't just go to the restaurant and order some food: you receive a complete menu for EUR 25 per person. And the restaurant closes at 8:30pm, so if you arrive late, you'd better buy some sandwiches on your way, because you will not get any food. There is a bar, which is open till 10pm (and you may also sit there with your dog), but you are not allowed to take drinks to your room.
    • We have asked repeatedly for a refund for one night because we had to cut short our stay and Seehotel has not responded to us or to Booking.com

It was next to the rowing course

    Location

Lack of cleanliness and service. Food very disappointing with a lack of fresh fruit and vegetables

Located on the Beetszee with its extensive lawns, mature trees, and its own small beach and Swans, it’s peaceful and calm. It was perfectly located for my participation in the Worlds Masters Rowing races on the same lake. It is located at one end of the 2 km rowing course just away from the hustle and bustle of the regatta. The food is served buffet style, breakfast and dinner, and is very reasonably priced. Some of the dinner dishes -which changed nightly- reminded me of my German-American grandmother’s cooking. The whole presentation is a lot like an Iowa church supper with generous portions of wholesome delicious food for canoeists, bikers and walkers.

    I can’t think of anything.

We stayed at the hotel because it was close to an event at the lake. The hotel is nicely presented and the room and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was included and there is ample parking.

The food was plentiful but average. We opted not to pay for dinner after the first night. We also communicated with the hotel via Booking.com but the hotel claimed that they did not receive any of the messages. This was very frustrating

    Good breakfast

Being told the dining room was "very busy at 7pm" when it was nearly empty. Unable to get any refreshments, not even tea and coffee, outside meal times. Shower leaked. WiFi very unreliable. Evening meals mediocre.

it was in a quiet location

absolutely dreadful place, to start with the two women at reception were distinctly unwelcoming and asking for anything (such as booking a taxi) was a major problem and far too much trouble for them, they definitely need some customer service training. The dinner there on the first night was pure stodge, utterly grim, and over priced for what it was. The only saving grace was that you got unlimited beer during dinner service for the two hours the restaurant was open (probably a cunning ploy to get you nicely drunk so you would not notice the dirty and depressing bedrooms when you go to hit the sack after dinner). So on to my room, bathroom was pretty dirty, whole room was not very clean at all, no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities, and the tiniest towels were provided in the bathroom, if I had known that I was expected to dry myself with a pair of face cloths I would have packed my own towels. Yes I did go to reception to ask for an extra towel but was met with a look that suggested that I had asked the receptionist to sacrifice her first born in my honour, so I gave up with that and went to buy some in the local supermarket (which was not very local). Breakfast was equally grim, hot trays of food were not refreshed so unless you got there at 7am on the dot you got nothing hot, but to be honest the remains of what was there did not look terribly appealing, so just toast for breakfast and an anaemic cup of tea. In summary, rude receptionists, dirty rooms with no facilities, grim overpriced food

Beautiful location but not near the centre of Brandenburg

There was no possibility to have dinner when I arrived at 19:00. Breakfast was like a meatfestival. Staff was oke but the whole hotel doesn’t sent out coziness or friendliness

Nice outlook onto the lake, approx 5km to town and cafes. Very attentive staff we were well looked after. Buffet breakfast catered for all.

This was a pleasant stay. The carpark can flood in heavy rain so chose your parking spot well haha.

    The Hotel crew were kind.

Very weak water pressure in the shower, uncomfortable low beds. Reparation workers on the corridors.. They should not be open until so big work they have.
