Hôtel Restaurant Les Remparts

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Les Remparts in Venasque and can only recommend it highly. The hotel is perfectly located in a charming hilltop village with stunning views and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are kind and helpful, and you immediately feel at home. The restaurant offers excellent Provençal cuisine — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.Venasque itself is a delight, with a boulangerie, small épicerie, cafés, and little shops adding to its relaxed charm. It’s also an ideal base for exploring the beauty of Provence — from vineyards and lavender fields to nearby historic towns. We truly enjoyed our time here and hope to return soon.

The view from Rm 8 was stunning and the restaurant food was an amazing representation of Provencal cuisine. The owners and staff were gracious and accommodating to all our needs. Would highly recommend this stay.

Depending on your room you may have difficulty with stairs if mobility is an issue.

Lovely place in a village, great staff and delicious restaurant. Rooms were large, clean, comfortable. The hotel has its own parking nearby.

The rooms are in an older building, perfectly renovated. But old building comes together with limited sound proofing. If your lucky, other guests are respectful and it all goes well. Yet, the ground floor rooms and next to the main door and anyone entering the building felt as if they were entering our room. Would we still come back? Absolutely

Rooms were comfortable and well equipped, staff were exceptional and friendly, offering help and suggestions that made our stay even better. Exploring the grounds and hikes around Vénasque was a delight, and the select shops and restaurants were so lovely - give yourself a few days to ensure you soak it all in. The food was delicious, and eating on the terrace among the smells and sounds of nature was a spot of paradise.

Absolutely no issues. The parking is a bit tight but very welcome to have private parking available.

Very sweet room in a stunning little village. Very good breakfast.

The bathroom shower drain was extremely slow and you ended up standing in water. No tea or coffee or bottled water in the room. The owners are more focused on the restaurant than on guest/customer services for the hotel.

Les Remparts is in one of the most beautiful places in France - our second time here. The little village is so historic and adorable. Fabulous places to explore in and around the area.The food at Les Remparts restaurant is wonderful prepared by the same chef that was there years ago.

Everything, I repeat, EVERYTHING was perfect, but above all the kindness and professionalism of the personelle is what will remain in my mind. It is an address I would not only recommend, it is one which I plan to return. In addition, the restaurant was very good - clearly the best in town.

Nothing comes to mind except the lack of an electric tea kettle in the room. And the television reception is really bad, but I believe that is a regional problem and not one limited to the hotel.

It is set in a beautiful authentic street in the middle of this small town. The town has a great vibe,good restaurants and a stunning view.

Bed less comfortable

Honestly really enjoyed this quaint little stay! Felt so secluded and private in this tucked away little town. Advice: Don’t try to drive to the front door of the hotel bc the roads are super narrow. Despite what booking says, parking does not have to be reserved in advance. Breakfast was simple but actually very delightful and served on a beautiful terrace. The AC takes a while to get the room cool (in July) but actually worked really well. We stayed in one of the rooms on the top floor which had a skylight so the room got bright really early in the morning, but otherwise the beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. Would stay here again!
