I was able to book a room extremely last minute after issues with my Air BNB booking. The bed was comfortable and parking was easy and free. The location was ok, but nothing much around that I noticed anyway.

The guy at reception was ok, didn't blow me away with friendliness or helpfulness, I almost felt like an inconvenience, but he did help me with check-in and told me what I needed to know. The room is EXTREMELY basic, especially for the cost. Not even a kettle or tiny bar fridge so be prepared to go out for everything or at least their own restaurant.

Nice and large enough room. Swimming pool was pleasant. Plenty of parking place.

The restaurant on-site was open only two hours at evening. Check-in was slow and it seemed that staff was not familiar with their system. Online check-in requested to pay the room even if I have already paid it in booking.com web site.

Was supposed to just be a one night stop on a road trip but the weather was getting so hot

It was 36+ outside and we were boiling having done a long drive on motorcycles all day in full gear. The reception felt quite cool but the rooms were like a furnace. No AC and no fans available. Swimming pool was shut.Very rude staff in the restaurant. She told us we couldn't sit anywhere after having got a beer. There were tables free. No way I was sitting outside it was still boiling and no breeze. We sat down at the free tables anyway. Evening food is just a buffet. Not much choice. Quality seems to go down if you leave it later but the coach trip people swamp the restaurant early. Same with breakfast. There's no lounge.

Perfect place very close to the main road. The hotel is close to the city centre-20 minutes walk through the park which was a relaxing and pleasant experience. Quite, peaceful and perfectly clean hotel. Very big parking lot, free of charge. The breakfast was good and had something for every taste-salami, sausages, scrambled eggs, jam and fruits, musli and youghurt, good coffee and varieties of tee.

The lack of a refrigerator in the room can be seen as a small drawback

I stayed here for a business trip and overall felt that the price matched the quality. The breakfast was tasty and had a good variety, which was a great start to the day.

Comfortable hotel in a green area, if you like to walk and have time for that - main Gifhorn attractions are reachable by foot going through the green park. Hotel has good choice of boats for rent and the river is just next to the hotel. We had great time on the water. Breakfast was good- eggs, muesli, cheese , coffee, etc. The room was on the ground floor, with big windows facing nature. It was comfortable, clean, everything worked properly.

The online checkout probably doesn’t work, we spent some time and even uploaded app, but seem to be not functioning. Reception comes only at 15.00, no earlier check in is possible. Check out at 10.00 (cleaning lady already needs to clean your room). Later checkout also seems not possible.

The breakfast was not the best but ok for its price. And during checkout there was no one to service us and the checkout "machine" was malfunctioning somehow and wouldnt let us check out. Tried to call the number but no one was answering so we just had to leave
