Pros +
- Quaint old French Chateau with loads of character. Great walks nearby. Restaurant was full of charm, as were the staff! Would definitely stay again if nearby
- Cool old (updated) chateau with very accommodating staff. Meals were all home made with local foods and delicious.
- Very warm and helpful staff! And great home-cooked meals at half-pension. A great town to stay in if you're going hiking on the many local trails.
Cons -
- Nothing. Staff is lovely but does not speak English.
- Limited space outside of room to relax which is helpful when weather is bad. Lounge area has charm but not ideal for kids. Rooms themselves in need of upgrade, but fine for a short stay.

Beautiful location, gardens, pool

Château full of charm, the home-made food is very good, staff friendly helpful and efficient. Breakfast well served. We shall be happy to go back.

Very nice chateau, a bit old in the maintenance but it adds a nice touch to it. The food was good and the room was nice. The bathroom felt old and could have been refurbished.
The breakfast is only served until 9:30, and we didn’t receive the information upon arrival. They were nice enough to let us have it at 9:45. Be aware that there is no plug for your electric car if needed.
Lovely historic chateau with superb period internal features. Very close to the Mont Aiguile in a peaceful village. Lots of walking and biking routes from here. They kindly let us have a late dinner for 6, which was superb and classic French cuisine
Very beautiful building located in a beautiful environment.
there were quite a lot of flies outside in the garden and on the terrace. maybe caused by the rural environment.
This is a beautiful building in a lovely location. The restaurant is very pleasant and the food very good.
Lovely atmosphere, a lived-in much loved stately home. La fricassée de cepes et d'escargots était une délice.Staff friendly and welcoming
Friendly staff, good food and you live on a castle .))
The manor is really gorgeous. The room was very quiet.Nice swimming pool in stunning surroundings.
The room was rather basic and there had a bit of a musty smell in it, although it was very clean.
the chateau is very interesting built in 1350 and the feeling is quite peacefull as if time stood still.Very comfortable and clean although a bit oldy worldy ! Nice swimming pool... Nice breakfast and dinner and good value for money.
nothing , I would come again
Really nice setting with a big garden, a lot of seating scattered around. Building definitely has the castle flair. We had an apartment that even included a fridge (wasn’t mentioned anywhere, but very useful if you stay for a few days). Breakfast was also nice, though not included in our case.
Nothing about the hotel, but the restaurant wasn’t convincing. Neither the meat option, nor the vegetarian one (which was a joke). Nice Bistro though some km towards the main road.
Madame was very welcoming and our room was cool on a very hot day, and comfortable. The grounds are large with an impressive swimming pool and plenty of comfortable chairs and tables dotted around the grounds. The dinner in the beautiful dining room was excellent. There was a good choice of food on the breakfast buffet.
Everything was good
Very nice place in a great location. The dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was large and quiet. I enjoyed my stay very much.
It’s a beautiful old chateau in an area with spectacular hikes and Nordic skiing. The hotel restaurant had great food and wine from the local region.
Not about the hotel, but this village and the surrounding villages do not have a shop to buy small items - be sure to bring everything you think you’ll need. (There is a great bakery in town and a creamy selling cheese and other dairy items not far away)
Just a gorgeous interesting place to stay
Very darkrooms in the castle but I guess that adds to the charm of staying in a castle
What a fabulous place. Stunning building .what a beautiful place .Great swimming pool.
Charming room in the turret. Quirky and comfortable
Liked all of it.
