Hotel les Alliés offers a warm and friendly welcome in the heart of Pont d’Ain, just 1640 feet from A42 Highway Exit. The bright, modern and comfortable rooms are soundproofed and include free Wi-Fi internet access. The hotel is close to several excellent restaurants serving local specialties. The nearby River Ain is a great place for fishing and water sports. Ski-enthusiasts will appreciate the ski area in Hauteville, 16 miles away from the hotel.

- Charming local hotel. Very clean. Lovely staff. Great breakfast. Not a sterile modern hotel
- Garage parking. Large room with a bath. Lovely breakfast. Additional heater in the room if required - it was January.
- The hotel looks a little bit old, partly renoved, therefore the room, bathroom etc. are a little bit like in the '70ies. But the owner was very friendly and reacting very fast per email. We were allowed to use the garage. The situation of the hotel directly next to the motorway is perfect for one night. A very good italian pizzeria is some meters away from the hotel. The restaurant at the corner of the hotel is not working in the evening and is not belonging to the hotel.
Cons -
- First impression a bit tired but wrong about the overall experience
- The TV remote didn't work properly. We tried new batteries (our own - we never travel without them) but it still wouldn't work properly. The bathroom light was very bright - we like to be able to find the bathroom at night - a smaller plug in night light would be fine.
- I hope that renoving the rooms step by step will be proceeded
