Just few choices at breakfast. To be taken into account if you are in the area for hiking or cycling and you need a big breakfast in the morning.
Easy to find with ample parking covered by CCTV. The rooms are large, comfortable, quiet and well appointed. Our server in the restaurant was lovely and spoke good English. The restaurant offered a good value menu and the food was excellent.
The hotel didn’t respond to 3 messages we sent and hung up on us when we called them. We would have cancelled if we had the option of free cancellation. According to Booking.com check in is from 4pm. We arrived at 5pm and there was no signs of life and the doors were locked. We telephoned them and were told we could check in at 6pm, eventually we were given a code to gain access to the hotel and our room. The breakfast had the least choice of our 2 week trip.

The hotel was closed and is being restored. Good value arriving when restaurant closed requires a phone call.
Simple hotel but very pleasant location near one of our favourite restaurants. Nothing fancy but perfectly comfortable, and the garden-side rooms have a lovely view.
