Pros +
- Very good beds, big & comfortable. The family rooms was very spacious and appropriate with two little kids. The breakfast was also very good.
- Basic but just what we needed for our short time in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful (especially to the noisy Brits at the bar)
- Plenty of choice for breakfast which was very tasty just get down early as the bacon goes quickly but they will cook more if its not too late. Very helpful staff who even helped to order a taxi for us and replaced the room card after it was stolen in Paris without any issues. Handy place to stay for day trips into Paris on the train. The whole party agreed that they would stay there again.
Cons -
- No lift & issues with the WiFi. The employee present that evening could not help
- A little far out of town so ideally a taxi required. There is a local station with limited service to Paris but better to use the main station in town. Air conditioning would have been a nice extra.
- Well a bit too expensive for what you get. Lousy breakfast. Hey welcome to France.

The area
The bed was splitting in two.The double mattress are actually single mattresses put together…
Breakfast was ok. The pastries and bread were good as was the bacon etc but the apple juice was broken and the boiled egg maker was not working properly. Despite a 6 minute timer, the egg was still too runny to eat when opened so I guess the water was not hot enough or something.
Generally grubby and unloved feel to it- matresses were about 2 inches thick on like a sofa bed arrangement and the toilet didn't flush too well. Staff attitude was not welcoming and apathetic. Both at arrival and at arriving for breakfast, we had to get their attention by saying hello. They rarely looked up from their PC screen or book to worry about us. We have booked so we could potentially use it for the Olympics next summer but based on the general demeanour of staff and facilities, we have decided to look elsewhere in Creil. Also noted 2 blocked fire exits - chair in room corridor and tray trolley in the restaurant. Moved the chair ourselves to be fair as it blocked our best way out from the rooms. You get what you pay for!
good dining room and reception
old rooms and old hotel
Friendly staff helping sort problems quickly. Very welcoming... And the bed was so comfy
Charged for two breakfasts even though we had booked breakfasts on an offer with the rooms. The hotel stated we had only paid for two rather than the for people we booked for, even though I showed the booking confirmation
The staff were so friendly and helpful and everything was clean
No lift and we were on the second floor. Normally we wouldn’t mind but I had a knee injury so it was a bit difficult. The shower was broken off the wall but my husband kindly fixed it for them
Disappointing
smelled like cigarettes inside and breakfast was lacklustre continental
Breakfast and leaving in the morning!
Staff were unattentive. Room was a disgrace, smelt very strong of cigarettes. No remote control for TV. Unable to have an evening meal. Lack of security when window opened.
We stayed just for a night and all went well :) Bonus is that my friend left her phone in the toilet in the lobby and when we went back 2 hours after, the receptionist kept it safe. Thank you!!!
No airconditioner in the room, a bit of a problem during heat wave
I couldn't believe that my hotel room doesn't have air conditioning.
Reception so welcoming
No hand towel
Our French is weak, and the staff was very kind in accomodating our challenges in communicating.
