Pros +
- Lovely continental breakfast and quiet location. Hosts very friendly and knowledgeable. Easy guest parking and could take hot water to room for a cuppa.
- The family room was just perfect for us (family of 4)
- Friendliness of the staff, they really are great people and don't deserve any bad criticism, but there are things to improve. The restaurant was also very good and the price was acceptable compared to the surroundings
Cons -
- Main bed too soft for us, no black out curtains and had flickering Christmas lights shining inside at night. The top floor squeaky with light movement. To be expected in an old aubuerge.
- We checked in around 21:00, and the room was cold as the radiators were switched off. Just when the temperature was approaching a comfortable level, the heating was automatically switched off by the hotel, although the outside temperature was close to 0 that night. It seems that the hotel management switches off the heating from 22:00 to 07:00. We were not informed or aware of this. The breakfast is spartanic - just bread with gem, croissants, and a yoghurt.
- No check in. No instructions, no information of the hotel policies, no mini bar and restaurant was closed for 3 days during our stay. No other solution was offered, it was very challenging to find a restaurant and you would have to drive at least 15 minutes. Furthermore, while the restaurant was closed, since there's no mini bar in the room, they did not offer bottles of water or any refreshments, and the nearest supermarket was 8 minutes by car (Sunday was also closed).

The place is really nice, very cozy and good for a family. There is also the restaurant with very nice food. The hosts are very helpful and nice.
It was in a great location between Strasbourg and Colmar. The rooms were perfect for my family. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding.
It’s rare to find family rooms. The swimming pool to be opened to our needs. The very nice staff. The very rich breakfast. The generous space.
Frédéric was amazing! He was so welcoming and accommodating to our whole family. The ambiance of the restaurant was great, though we didn't get to have dinner there. Would frontrunner stay there again!
Room was a little cold. But the bedding was good so we stayed warm.
Venue 3/5 : This place is well located and not too far from Europapark. Kids friendly – Dogs/Cats allowed – clean and unique.Service 1/5 :All is served with a smile and the owner is super friendly. Why then 1*One thing is said, another is done.We were 6 for eating. Kids wanted a kid menu but double portion. Answer from waitress : Not possibleKetchup during dinner got forgotten and so on..In the morning there is the food u get for breakfast. Not too much variety but it was ok.Next day in the morning we get seated (whole restaurant is empty) in the only table which is inbetween 2 doors and a "courant d'air"Yes we could have asked to get another table but whom positions its guest on the worst table in an empty restaurant. We couldn't get any more drinks or coffee in the morning as the waitress was busy cleaning the emtpy terrasse on a rainy day then serving the only clients inside . (Yes, we could have gotten to her and asked for...) but by now I guess u get our point. And the best was that despite parking properly there seems to be jealous neighborhood as we were asked to remove our car during the dinner. We could have been asked to move it once we are finished or so but no it was expected to be done right away which we didn't as we were parking properly for the time we were there. The owner is one of the most friendliest persons we have met so far but the waitress seems to not share his passion telling by the actions towards us. She was friendly though.Product 4/5 : Products are fresh and tasty.Speed 2/5 : Despite being in the evening only 1/3 of the tables occupied in the restaurant took foreverVariety 3/5 :If you are looking for that signature dish you might get disappointed. It a balanced variety of food. Overpriced compared to local competition.
Being treated like intruders & hiding under nice words a not so great service. Huge presence of moskitos. (Not the business fault though). Clean rooms but amenities were missing like no soap and no refill after 1st day..
Everything is perfect. Frederic and his wife were very friendly
Super friendly hosts - delicious regional food.

The food in the restaurant could have been better.
