Hôtel & Restaurant Le Relais d'Aumale

They were very helpful with charging my electric car. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good.

The short glass panel on the tub didn?t keep shower water from getting on the floor. The room decor looked quite out of date.

Location and grounds.

It was a Monday night and aware many hotel restaurants are closed BUT the website/information suggested their restaurant was OPEN so we booked on that basis. We only had a phone call to say they were closed when we had already left the UK and too late to change hotels at that point. So we paid a lot for a facility that we never received. Very disappointing.We also felt the breakfast was expensive for what it was and the bedrooms were very dark.

Charming in appearance.

Very firm mattresses… back ache inducing. Shower would not drain. No fan in our room on a hot summer night. Disappointing!

Clean, tidy, nice room. Easy to drive to the airport from here.

nice rooms, equipped with everything you need. comfy beds. very accommodating staff (they prepared for us the breakfast earlier than it was officially possible).

Good location for Chantilly visit. Free secure on site parking. Traditional French cold buffet breakfast with good croissants. Staff friendly and helpful. Good comfortable beds, although twin room beds are narrow, they could easily have fitted two wider ones.

Tired dated small bedroom. Upholstered stools for bedside tables difficult to balance things on. No plug sockets to recharge phones. Bizarre shower over bath with shower attachment on wall at waist height! Lift smelt of dirty mop. Restaurant very overpriced for average food (never order the côté d’agneau, it’s just two bones with absolutely no meat, (the sort your butcher would give you free for the dog) perhaps other menu choices would have been better. Overall too expensive for what this hotel offers, but it seems that all hotels in the area are the same.

Country site hotel with free parking. Loading electrical vehicles is possible at €10/night. The restaurant serves excellent food.The room on the 1st floor was accessible by elevator. Hotel was very quiet during the night. There is light traffic sounds from the road through the village.

Small double bed, low shower in bath (ideal for little people), no bar,drink service available. no mini bar despite suggestion not that I needed one , fridge would have been nice

we liked the very friendly and helpful staff, the comfy room and the amazing meal

would prefer check in to be before 5pm but they did bring us a lovely cup of tea whilst we waited

The hotel in nice, the decor is fine, and the location is convenient.

My wife fell ill on the first night. We had to leave early the next morning, canceling the remainder of our stay. I explained this to the staff. They told me to write them an email explaining the circumstances which I did. And I requested a refund for the canceled nights. I followed this up with another email when we arrived home. To date, I have heard nothing at all from the hotel, no answer and no refund. As the reason for our leaving was outside our control, I expected some consideration, but received none. Very poor in my opinion.

It is in an ideal location for breaking the journey from south of France to the UK. The staff were excellent - very responsive to queries and helpful with various changes to our booking, The restaurant serves v good traditional French fare. Our room was perfect for us.

As a business travellor, the WiFi did not work and there was no 3/4G reception meaning that we could not work.

Simple to check in; accommodated my needs for an early check in and a late night arrival back at the hotel following the UCL final match that day.

Restaurant for dinner was very good. Breakfast was nice. Staff were helpful and friendly.

WiFi was awful. Decor was tired. Bathroom poor - shower head came to my shoulders (I'm not even 6ft tall!)

Excellent parking on site. Very nice and quaint hotel. Super nice, friendly and helpful staff.
