Cons -
- I never saw any staff which was odd.
- Booked two double rooms, both with bath.Arrived to be given one double which had not been cleaned, no plugs in bathroom, visible dirt on floor from previous guests. Cleaner arrived about an hour after checkin, entering room unannounced and hoovered the floor partially and left.Other room was twin, no bath and NOT what was booked or asked for.Water was warm at best during the one night stay and will not book this again despite booking it previously.
- Breakfast basic, not worth the price

Clean, easy parking, friendly welcome
It’s a bit tired
Simple, clean, not luxurious but value for money in a quiet small (rundown) French town. Very friendly staff in family-like setting. Ample parking space in front of the property.
The AC outlets are very limited in fact only one along the floor at an awkward place. Working on a laptop which needs to be plugged in becomes a hassle.
Good value for money. Slightly dated but clean and comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpfull personnel. Close to centre of toen with good parking facilities.

Friendly staff and helpful. there was no kettle but they gave me 2 mugs and let me use their microwave to heat water for tea. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of heating. The TGV meuse stop is right outside so arriving from Paris couldn't be easier.
Room is functional and suitable for a short stay. Very clean with a comfortable bed. Both important. Breakfast was adequate. Good carparking facilities. There is a restaurant but it was not open when I stayed. Maybe because end of season, mid-week.
Clean, friendly, parking, good mattress, short walk to local amenities.
Pillows. Shower over bath,
Easy location for walking into town. Ease of parking. Clean.
A little dated in areas. Staff occasionally difficult to find.
That it was open late.
No one at the desk, but you called a phone number to get your key (in a pile at the front desk) . I think this is a result of after Covid not being able to get people to work for low pay. There was no light in the hallway and it was hard to find our room. The room was clean enough to stay for one night. No air or fan to circulate the air.The only reason we stayed here was Verdun was filled. Or so that’s what Booking.com said.I don’t think the money was worth it. It’s very basic.
Decent location for walk into main town
Very hot we had an air conditioning unit on the wall but it didn’t work it was so hot I never slept all night - if you can’t sleep in a hotel what’s the point.
Not much.. it was cheap is best thing
Staff were very disinterested, taking language barrier into account the girl that served me beer was just rude, my evening meal I wasn’t given a menu I was told chicken and that was my lot… and it was the most un-chicken, chicken I had ever seen… after 2 weeks touring Europe on the motorbike this was my worst accommodation in 17 nights
Manager couldn’t have been more helpful when we had a bike issue. Managed to get help to get us on our way again. Staff were always happy to help and cheerful
We arrived late in the evening. The after-hours check-in was easy. Breakfast was great, as was the staff.
The hotel was in a congested area and parking was on the street. The room was a bit too warm, but opening the window was not ideal because of street and pedestrian noise.
The manager was very helpful and the facility was clean. The breakfast had a generous selection and the dining room was nice. The shower had great water pressure and it was nice that the toilet had its own room, separate from shower & sink. Bed was comfortable.Garage for our bicycles was nice!
Air conditioning would have been nice or maybe a tan for the room. Location was removed from restaurants and central city area.
As others have mentioned, the staff were excellent. Both the gentleman who booked us in and, especially, the lady in the restaurant, were extremely friendly and efficient. We stayed for two nights and each evening our dinner was exceptional. However, although there was a menu in our room, it turned out there was a fixed meal and no choices. But, as I said, the quality of the food exceeded our expectations.
Our room (15) was a bit 'tired' and needs updating. The bathroom basin unit was old and we were provided with just one plastic cup and a miniscule bottle of shower gel, barely enough for a child, let alone two adults.
Free parking, quiet location within walking distance from town, friendly and helpful staff, clean bedroom, big double bed, plenty of room in bathroom, good WiFi.
Nasty smell from toilet room. Breakfast too expensive.
Staff very welcoming. Great, relaxed atmosphere. Good prices. My flask for teh long day ahead was filled foc no questions asked.
At the time of our visit, no evening meals were available. Beds weren't the most comfortable but, as tired as we were, we got a good sleep.
The room and bed were comfortable, and bathroom and separate wc were good, clean with plenty of towels. All a little dated but that can be expected for the price. Plentiful parking just outside the front door, and a large Lidl store next door. Good location 2 minutes from the Meuse river. Some useful folders and brochures about the local area available in the foyer. Did not have any meals in the restaurant so cannot comment on the food.
No staff on reception on arrival and it was unclear if I should just pick up my key from the desk (which turned out to be the case once I rang the phone number indicated). No proper check in i.e. no need to show my passport or ID.
