    Pros +

    • Fun atmosphere, quiet at night, great swimming pool.
    • Clean and plenty for the kids - they loved the inflatables that were up! Only downside was our friends staying next door didn’t have a kettle and were told there were no more bed sheets to hire then they arrived, despite being told over email that was fine to sort on arrival.
    • Nice pool area, good restaurant, friendly staff, very pleasant layout to site. Great overnight stop and will definitely use again, perhaps stay and extra day.

    Cons -

    • No criticisms at all.
    • Charges for use of the tele.
    • A little cramped. You could order fresh bread but didn’t know and there was none to buy on the day.

We only stayed one night but the facilities were great and the site seemed beauitful. Would happily stay there again.

Charges for use of the tele.

The staff at the Camping de la Croix are exceptional. Can't comment on much really as we stayed only for a night but it was clean and comfortable. Looks like there is a bit to do around it but we didn't have a chance. Maybe next time.

Great place for a stop over on the way to the Alps. Very friendly.

Only small thing was that the pool was quite cold.

Stuff was nice and helpful. No deposit needed for one night stay.

Stayed here for one night, camping seemed to be quite old in the middle of the bushes, at night time there was hard rain with big wind, so the pieces of trees were falling on cars, our car was damaged in few places, electricity was broken-not working for a few hours . The same at the morning.Camping was unventilated and smelling of moisture and humidity, including blankets and pillows. Wi-Fi only near main building.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great value for money. Stone baked pizza cancelling good food

Nice location under trees, picturesque chalets.

The chalet was very, very small. It was ok for one night for two small to average people, but would not suit anyone large!

Good value mobile homes on low key site near Langres.

Costs kept low by not providing sheets or towels so bring your own.

    Very friendly and helpful welcome.

Some kitchen equipment missing. No bread knife/sharp knife. No means of lighting the gas, but I was given a lighter when I asked.

Staff were lovely and friendly and the campsite is a gem in the middle of a forest with plenty of privacy and space to park next to mobile home.

Accommodation is quite dated and wasn't particularly clean. It smelled very musty as ventilation wasn't great. Shame, as the campsite itself is lovely.

Perfect spot for an overnight stay on our way travelling south with kids. Clean mobile home, we could get the keys while arriving during the night. Big trampoline for the kids in the communal garden, fine breakfast and very nice staff.

Caravan is great for two adults after a long journey with comfortable beds and all we needed.

    Passable

We stayed in a mobile home which was very basic. The curtains didn't fit the windows properly one of the metal bed frames was very old and Rusty. We booked this site because of the swimming pool, but when we arrived, it was closed as it was being drained/cleaned so the children couldn't use it.

We had a gite room (the big one designed for 5 people with 2 toilets and 2 showers, a fridge and aircon). The room was superclean, spacious and nice (nothing fancy though). The facilities were superb (beautiful grounds, great pool, restaurant good for drinks though a bit pricey for food, trampolines, river access, playground, little supermarket with fresh breads, supernice owners and friendly staff). We were not far away from Millau (the little city is a GEM! with lovely pastry shops and restaurants, great to walk) and Tarn Gorges (try cave Grotte de Dargilan, here you can spot vultures circling in the air direclty in front of the cave amazing!!!).

The food prices in the restaurant could have been a bit cheaper (almost 11 Euros for a tomatoe/mozarella starter I thought was a bit hefty)... But that is your own choice and you can always eat elsewhere obviously or make your own dinner.

Having had car trouble and arriving very late, it was very kind of the staff to wait up for us. We know that this isn’t normal and are very grateful to them.

    Location was good

Single beds were too small for adults. Crockery was a bit grubby, bedding a bit old and tired.

Used it as a stop over on the way to Calais from South of France. Very easy to find. Static caravan had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Man in reception spoke perfect English and was very helpful. Bread available to order for breakfast and the restaurant was open but we didn’t use either.
