Pension Weinberg Güstrow

Passable

I stayed several times at the pensión.Last time for 5 days on a row.Since I planned to stay at Gustrow still for a while, on the checkout of my fifth day I asked for permission to leave the luggage at reception before coming back for a new check in.The answer was a mail saying:"Your reservation IS extinguissed.Leave the room inmediately".

Clean, great value and quiet

It’s a good facility and at good location with easy access to public transport to city and around Güstrow.

Stayed here in November and the restaurant was closed. It would to be nice to have a microwave in the rooms or on the facility for use . As had to always go to town to have breakfast and meals . That was draining considering We had a longer stay and the weather was cold to be always out.

The place is in dire need for renovation, dirty carpets, bad smell, shower drain barley working.and in 2024, why is there no WIFI... (which they said in advance, but still very surprising.)

Since we travel with motobikes and it was small rain, we were very happy to find the heater for wet clothes.

Low price. Basic but ok facilities. Clean sheets and towels. Parking.

Bed linen was missing in one of the beds, there was no staff available to help. No one in the reception and the did not answer the phone or messages on Booking.com.

We did not like this property.

We got rooms on the third floor (last floor I guess). There was no light in the corridor to the rooms. There were no internet signals in the rooms. The weather was hot during those days and we did not find any air condition or even Fan in the room. When we let our window opened for the night, we found mosquitos roaming around us during the night. The room was dusty as I started sneezing after entering in the room. It was not cleaned. There was a spider in the toilet as well.

It was cheap and well located if you are on your way to Rostock. Check in process was easy (we received the code to the key box with the keys to our rooms in it).

The kitchen in the “suite” where we stayed was not functional (no water on working stove - why have a kitchen if you can’t use it?).

Good free parking in hotel. Easy to auto check inn at mid night. Excellent service nxt. Morning, coffee, 1extra hour to stay (we came midnight and was very tired).. perfect!!

Rooms need to update ,refurbishing. Except Bathroom renovated, all ok!!

Great location. Nice and quiet. Even has a little garden.

1980's design choices. Spruce up the garden.

The carpet in our room was extremely worn-out and dirty. No internet in the room. No black out on the window . No AC.

Hotel was unmanned on arrival, Having booked 2 rooms only one room was allocated we had to ring a booking service to get the extra room.
