Friendly, great condition with lots of character and grounds

Breakfast a bit disorganised and hotel did have quite a few flys in rooms and restaurant and bar which was a bit of a shame.

Beautiful setting, well developed into a comfortable and stylish hotel. Our room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable and large. Fantastic shower. Service was personal and excellent

Very quiet location, very nice domain. We had a room with private terrace, which was unexpected and very pleasant, given the beautiful weather and garden. Price/quality ratio is very good.

The property is in urgent need of significant investment and fundamental renovations. In clear daylight the facilities look worn and tired.The spa / swimming pool is mouldy and outdated technically.

We were able to park our cars in front of the property. Excellent food.

The staff didn’t seem to keep good track of drink orders. Each drink should have a cheque to sign. This didn’t happen and a few of us felt we were overcharged.

Too remote, cold rooms, poor food, overpriced, in fact I’m gonna ask for refund. It’s not a 4 star property as advertised.

Lovely Hotel and very helpful staff The room was spacious, clean, dinner was exceptional We used the swimming pool and the sauna which despite a very cold day were reasonably warm and very nice

It took us about 15 minutes to find the hotel from exit 13 of the motorway. I guess we may have taken a detour ?

Everything was great.... Staff fabulous, comfortable, clean . Food was good but not exceptional flavours considering the price.

Just not very good soundproofing between room 1 and 2 .... Could hear the conversation ?

The spa facilities are great. Lovely restaurant and bar. Really enjoyed our stay here. Very dog-friendly hotel!

Don't let this stop you from staying at this hotel, but just to give management some feedback, the mattresses and pillows were too hard. Also, the dog that belongs to the hotel attacked my little puppy at reception as we were walking past. Luckily my dog was on the lead, but I don't think it's acceptable to have such a big dog wandering around knowing that he might not like the attention of other dogs.

Very good service, lovely facility. We had dinner at the bar and food was great. Great for a stop on the way back to uk

It is a bit in the middle of the countryside and will take about 20 min to be back on the motorway
