    Pros +

    • We liked the peaceful setting and modern room. AC was great and the room was very comfortable. The closeness to nature was lovely, quiet, and calm. Definitely a place for biking.
    • Very friendly and helpful staff, perfect temperature control in the room, silent, very clean, modern, plenty of usb charging capabilities both usb-a and usb-c. Very nice shower with anti-slip floor. Big comfortable bed with excellent pillows. Phenomenal natural environment. Plenty parking space. Relaxing atmosphere. Eco-responsible.
    • Great location in nature, super clean, friendly and helpful staff, many amenities.

    Cons -

    • The restaurant was not good quality food for the price. There were not many menu options either, but no other nearby alternatives. Breakfast is not worth 15€ but again, no other options. We were also not aware of the steep price for dogs until check in.
    • The restaurant needs an upgrade, both in looks and offering, breakfast was somewhat disappointing, same every day, impossible to get an egg sunny side up, stale tasting sausages, orange juice is not fresh or even trying, coffee quality very variable etc.. There is a device in the room that looks a bit like a fridge, but doesn't cool anything.
    • A freezer compartment would be appreciated for stays of several days.

Stunning setting, very homely cottage and very nice restaurant on site. Plenty of outdoor activity around for the whole family. We could have stayed longer!

Hosts are expected to clean the cottage before leaving.

Very clean and comfortable, high quality fittings and furnishings. Loads of horses and ponies in nearby fields

The room was lovely and the location very relaxing

The breakfast was not worth the money as we arrived towards the end of the service so nothing was getting replenished.

    Clean accommodation

Poor facilities unable to purchase basic food such as milk or butter/bread and had to drive to accommodation which was quite a distance from reception and felt isolated

Amazing little getaway, I was on my own but will come back with the family. Cute animals everywhere and great for small children. Restaurant on site was nice, and a peaceful setting in general.

I went down for breakfast at around 9am and there was hardly anything left to eat. A shame as it was €15 and I basically got 1 piece of cheese and some bread.

    we stayed only one night

Upon arrival we were charged an extra £20 for the dog and an extra £5 for taxes. Then a £200 authorisation was put on my card as a deposit. I asked them if they expect trouble and they said sometimes. I haven’t seen this mentioned in the reviews so either it is normal in France, (never happened to me before though) or they just charge some people. We were then told we had to checkout by 10 am and before leaving we had to clean the place, dust and mop, strip the beds and collect the garbage and take it away.We stayed one night!! and we had to do all that before 10… Why???if you have an early checkout is so they can clean, but why am early checkout if we have to clean??I don’t mind paying for the dog, although £20 is the most I’ve paid so far, because they might have to do extra cleaning, but if I’m cleaning why charge me?? as a deposit for damage from the dog? but then why the hell the £200??I tell you why, student landlords have been doing it forever, they charge you for the dog just because they can, they make you clean so they can save (the cutlery in the apartment was dirty) and they charge you the £200 so you are forced to clean in fear they’ll charge you and they will for sure try to find any reason to do so. we took a video after cleaning like we used to do as students. all for a 1 night stay unbelievable.the toilet is separated from the shower and sink, it’s always nice to know you have to touch two handles after going to the bathroom before you can wash your hand.are you taller than 1.80m or 6foot? bad luck your knees will almost touch the wall sitting on the toilet, and you better now wanna wash your hair because the shower handle is not long enough. speaking of washing your hair, bring your shampoo and soap cause all you get in the welcome kit is toilet paper, floor cleaner, washing up liquid and a dishwasher tablet. nothing to shower with.

Very nice environment. Small amimal farm lots of horses and possibility to go horseback riding nearby,, nature reserve. Very quiet.

Matrass in childrens room was not sufficient (feel wood beneath). No door before childrens room, no curtains either.
