About

In the heart of the Baie de Somme, between Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme and Le Crotoy, the Château de Noyelles hotel house is a unique place nestled in a magnificent green and flowery 4-hectare park. The protective turrets of this mid-19th century castle overlook an English garden with perfect lines. We welcome you to this address where the eclectic decoration of each of the 12 rooms combines period furniture and contemporary creations. This establishment is as romantic as possible between the suites of the Château or the two caravans fitted out in the park and the table d'hôte where you can enjoy an excellent meal by the fireside in winter, under the light of candles. Our table d'hôte offers gourmet cuisine through a unique menu made of fresh, homemade products. Dinner is possible via reservation 48 hours beforehand (excluding lunchtimes and Sunday evening). Our rooms are not equipped with television but you will find one available in the salons of the Castle. Free private parking is available on site. You will stay just 4 minutes on foot from the train station serving Paris in 1h40 direct. The Château provides bicycles on request to explore the surroundings or to go sand yachting on the Channel coast located 3.7 mi away. Le Touquet-Paris-Plage is 23 mi from Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, while Berck-sur-Mer is 16 mi away. The nearest airport is Le Touquet-Côte d'Opale.

    Pros +

    • The hotel has so much old world charm inside and outside. It was exactly the kind of experience we wanted to have in northern France for the first time. I would recommend it for a relaxing and beautiful time exploring the Picardy region.
    • Beautiful old chateau in a really quiet village, in a lovely part of France we hadn't been to beforeGreat breakfast with local produce and plenty of choiceThe staff were really super too
    • Lovely setting, good food, friendly staff.

    Cons -

    • Would it be possible to write down the menu for dinner
    • The wifi was variable, and at times the phone reception wasn't so good. Try to get a room in the main building. Mine was a bit too far from the main building, and a bit hot in the middle of summer.
    • The wifi and at times the phone reception were not good. The wifi was only in the main building. If you go for one of the wooden caravans in the grounds, they can be a good, different, option, but bear in mind they can get very hot in summer and are located in the grounds some way from the main building. You need to give 48 hours notice if you want an evening meal - but there's a good little bistro across the road.

Breakfast was brilliant and the chateau was very beautiful. It is well located, in a very small village, but within easy reach of the beautiful Baie de Somme country and resorts. The staff were really friendly, and I liked the village. Will almost certainly go back, and would stay for longer. It has a train station.

Brilliant location in a little village close to the tourist spots on the Baie of the Somme. The breakfast was excellent, the staff were very helpful. The chateau is a beautiful, historic building with relaxing grounds. If you want a taste of France a bit off the beaten track, this is it. Noyelles and the chateau are a little oasis of calm just a few minutes drive from busier seaside towns. It's also just off a major cycling route.

The wifi and at times the phone reception were not good. The wifi was only in the main building. If you go for one of the wooden caravans in the grounds, they can be a good, different, option, but bear in mind they can get very hot in summer and are located in the grounds some way from the main building. What a fantastic stay. Absolutely beautiful hotel, comfortable beds, great evening meal and breakfast was amazing - complete with apple juice from the chateau orchard. Our host was lovely and humoured us speaking French - great place to stay especially if you have kids like we do learning French. location perfect for Calais - just an hour by car. wish we had booked for longer.

Chateau was simply gorgeous and newly decorated from top to bottom in beautiful colours and furnishings. Staff charming and helpful. Lovely breakfast for 15 euros. Table d'hote dinner for 38 euros, but remember dinner must be booked in advance. I honestly couldn't fault it. Loved it there.

Fantastic location, and a stunning building. We received a very warm welcome from the owner.

An additional charge for breakfast was unexpected and a little high. For the price charged, I would have expected breakfast to have been included. It was probably stated in the terms so our fault for not checking!
