Pros +
- Friendly staff – decent breakfast – good restaurant
- The breakfast was basic, but we didn't leave the breakfast room hungry. The hotel was easy to find and the location was closed to the attraction we planned to visit.
- Staff were pleasant. Room a good size.
Cons -
- Unpleasant smell in the room and bathroom
- The sign to the hotel was confusing. We followed the arrow on the sign and ended up driving too far. The receptionist told us afterwards the sign was meant for pedestrians, not for cars. After our mistake, they ended up putting the planters to block the driveway. We were surprised to find out that the parking for the hotel was actually in front of another business. The hotel room needs some remodeling/painting. The door was scratched up. No hair dryer in the room. No English spoken.
- Restaurant wasn't open, although listed as open. Reception closes early and we needed to leave an event early to get there for 6pm. Maybe need to advertise the actual opening hours. As a disabled traveler I wouldn't have chosen a hotel without a restaurant on-site or very close by.

The location was excellent for us with easy driving access to the beach. The onsite restaurant served an excellent meal with really helpful staff throughout. There was a good continental breakfast served.
Breakfast was good , restaurant was good, staff were helpful
The restaurant was excellent as were the staff serving at both dinner and breakfast. Great food we sat outside in the evening sun very relaxing. Close to town and beaches a great supermarket close by.Plenty of free parking available for guests
Reception staff...no English she said as soon as I spoke which I think is very rude, i tried my best to communicate but surely if you work in a hotel reception your staff should be welcoming and not make guests feel uncomfortable by their initial greeting. The welcome lets this hotel down, unfortunately. No aircon and beds quite small and uncomfortable
Good location short drive from beach and around 45 minutes from Calais. Nice renovated room. Nice dinner in outdoor seating area.
No air con could be an issue in hot weather.
Bijou, basic room with everything as described on booking.comStaff were lovely.Good main courses, very tasty.Ample parking and quiet location. 6 electric car charging points.
The starter to the meal we chose was battered deep fried prawns and calamari was not good, however the steak and turkey kebab we ate for our main course more than made up for it.
The staff.
The pool table was a disappointment. Poor equipment. We were looking forward to this too. More information could be provided on what is available to guests in the dining room. No tea/coffee in rooms.
Good restaurant, quiet rooms and a good breakfast. Certainly value for money.
All ok.
Location was good. In fine weather it would be convenient for the beach.
No kettle was available in the room, even on request.
Our room was very clean and comfortable with easy access on the ground floor.
The restaurant was a little disappointing after previous visits when it was very good.
A good buffet breakfast without a warm option. A selection of cold and hot drinks, the placings were well laid out and easily utilised
The standards exceeded the 3 star rating
Very good value, friendly staff, quiet location conveniently placed for Eurotunnel
Staff great. Arrived late. Very flexible in finding something for us to eat.
Good room, clean and modern. Typical breakfast (good). Dogs welcome and suitable park for dog exercising opposite. Adjoining restaurant.
Don’t be put off by roadside facade of empty old building! The hotel is around the back!
We stayed as a one night stopover after the channel tunnel, on our way home to the south west of France, great for that, a bit too basic for any longer
You could hear the next room a bit easy, and the rooms are basic but clean and as expected
Clean and comfortable. Big room. Very clean room and bathroom. Friendly staff. Dog friendly.
Food in restaurant and breakfast was a bit disappointing.
Very friendly and helpful staff, surprisingly good (if basic) evening meals, decent breakfast. Good sized rooms with decent bathrooms. I also quite liked the early 80’s aesthetic.
Soundproofing between the rooms might be better (though it wasn’t bad enough to disturb sleep) and the bed was not the most comfortable, perhaps due to mattress (or its protector) lacking breathability.
