Everything is perfect. This hotel&restaurant are owned by one family for many many years. Very attentive to details, perfectly clean. Top recommendation in this area!

The owners were very welcoming! We made a reservation for a 3-bed room but since it was full we got a big apartment instead. And it was lovely and spacious! Value for the money either apartment or normal room.

We had a pleasant stay in this country Inn that has been managing by the family's 4th generation. Around 20-min drive to Bad Kissingen and lies on the outskirts of Obererthal. Staffs are friendly and they provide German cuisine in their restaurant.

Pillows weren't fully-filled as this was uncomfortable while sleeping especially if you've reflux.

New Annex. Large room with a terrass and large bathroom. Very modern and elegant.

If you arrive late and the place is booked out, it seems you end up with the dark, small apartment, with a noisy and uncomfortable bed. No balcony as was advertised when we booked the room.Disappointing.

We needed to cancel our visit at the very last moment due to one of us four contracting covid-19. So we contacted Landgasthof Zum Stern and the lady said that that was no problem and she was fine with us having our money refunded. That was so generous of her, specially because the cancellation was made at the very last day! She also mentioned that if we needed to come in, she would find a solution that would limit the chances of infecting somebody else. So we could choose what we did. To be able to choose what opportunity suited us best given the circumstances was so great! In the end we drove on straight to home in the Netherlands.

Everything was all right and the restaurant exceeded our expectations. We stayed one night with two little children. The room was big enough, the bathroom all right, the beds were comfortable. We got a delicious dinner. It turned out the restaurant is well known for its cuisine in the area. There were tables in- and outside. We went for a walk in the village before dinner. The staff was friendly and helping.

The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and it was an excellent setting.

The mattresses were a little worn, you could feel some of the springs. This did not distract from the overall experience however.

We had a brand new room which was nicely furnished. Bed was nice and comfortable. The owners were friendly and we enjoyed a great dinner and breakfast.

No air conditioning and it didn't have a window with a fly screen. It only had a patio door which we couldn't leave open without getting mosquitoes inside...never mind someone walking un on us. It was pretty warm in the room at night.

Very good German food served in the restaurant. I really enjoyed the "Hirschgulasch".
