Awful avoid, avoid, avoid

I don't even know were to start here. Both the hotel and attitude of the manager are absolutely dire. The hotel is not worthy of 1 star let alone 4. The photos must have been taken at least 20 yers ago.We were given a room with dirty towels left hanging in the bathroom, no clean towels, no toilet paper and the floor was filthy. The state of the room was just not acceptable in any way and certainly not what what we paid for. When I complained to reception we were offered another room. The door to this alternative room had been left open, there were bags of rubbish in the floor and the TV was on, we declined. We asked for a discount refunded on the room rate as it was completely unacceptable. This is the reply we received..."We are sorry to hear that your stay turned out to be a total disaster, that the room was disastrous, that you could not breathe in the room, that there were odours in the room and the terrace, as well as the sheets, the toilets, the bathroom, that the floors were dirty, the exasperating noise of the orchestras, the noise and the howling of the guests.With regard to your stay, which went very badly, we are offering you a 10% discount on the room you would book on your next stay, and this only applies if you book directly with the hotel, and not on platforms such as Booking.com, hotel.com etc. Otherwise it will not be taken into account.We stay at your disposal for any further information.Kind regards,AhmetGolf Hotel Colvert's manager"In response to the manager below...Yes we stayed twice because we booked a non refundable room to and from the south of france. The 1st stay was just bearable, a place to crash after a 4am start and 7 hour drive. The 2nd stay was appalling as per my review. The second room offered was not in an acceptable state, which is why we refused.I shared your shocking response, not for financial gain, but for for people to see how vile and rude you are. I wouldn't stay again if paid me.

Due to our unplanned stopover late at night our two rooms were freshly prepared as well as an additional table for breakfast. The friendly staff was very service orientated and welcoming. Thank you for having us.

What a great find. A peaceful stop over location on a golf complex with a pool. Just 10 mins walk into the local village to the Auberge restaurant which was authentic and superb!

Parking. 18euros for covered parking but not enough outside spaces to allow a choice.

The price is completely overpriced. Infrastructure and available services are at best on the level of a two-star hotel. But you pay a four-star price for two-star service. I would not book there again.

It's a good location just outside Beane for my purposes. I use it regularly and the team are very welcoming and friendly.

Very helpful and service minded staff, beautiful surroundings, large room and with idyllic view of small creek. Highly recommended.

The staff was amazing, I was delayed due to traffic and called to inform them that I would arrive past the curfew. The staff told me he would personally wait for me to arrive. When I left he went out to get some coffee from the kitchen for during my drive.

Undercroft car parking was chargable and not enough outside parking which was not charged.

The surprise for having to pay an extra €10 to park in the covered part of the car park!We learned this on checkout. We should have been warned at checkin. The uncovered part of the carpark is free!

no restaurant or bar in property, but I knew that. also all local restaurants within walking distance were closed on Wednesday, the night we stayed.

Lovely Large Room with a balcony. Nicely designed bathroom. Breakfast was a simple continental affair although staff did offer additional cooked items if required.

The location was perfect for what we were looking for. The room was clean.

Quite dated the hotel feels a little drab. everything is just ‘ok’.

Pleasant enough hotel

Did not realise hotel had no restaurant when booked. They did provide with telephone numbers for local Restaurants ..but due to lateness were fully booked, which was a shame as they looked amazing when passing them to get to Hotel.. no dinner for us but suppose we were to blame!
