Pros +
- Very good spacious room, pleasant peaceful terrace, lovely hosts.
- Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent and the owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful as was the cleaning lady.
- hot water is good. good parking
Cons -
- The room would benefit from a kettle for tea/coffee. Beware if staying on a Sunday, bring your own dinner as you are unlikely to find a restaurant in the vicinity which is open and not fully booked.
- You will regret the moment you choose this place. Unfriendly, bad location, unclean, poor facilities. No amenities nearby. all closed.
- It felt soulless and impersonal. Hotel is a self contained unit managed from bar across road. Our room although quite large was bare of furniture (2 upright chairs and small table). Tiled floor. If there was anything on the walls I didn’t notice. Sheets and blankets.

Good location near Vézelay. Two decent restaurants close by. Secure gated parking. Very pleasant and helpful owner who we had a friendly chat with over coffee the next morning.

Inexpensive for a room for four. Decent breakfast. Terrace. Near Veselay, worth a one-day visit.
Nothing really bad, it is clean enough and such. Beds are a bit short, there is no fridge nor airco.
spacious, cool room (outside over 30 deg) on ground floor. good parking space.
perfect little hotel
The rooms are big, fresh despite the very hot weather and there is a big parking place, reserved to the hotel. The reception is in the bar on the other side of the road.
Breakfast was very so-so, with low quality frozen bread, and very limited choice of everything.
Hotel was good, rooms were clean, secure off road parking for motorbikes.
Staff unfriendly. The hotel is in a small remote village. We asked if it was possible to get evening food anywhere in the village and was told by the manager there was nothing. This was untrue. We found a lovely resturant 300yds from the hotel. Apprently, the two establishments have had a fall out and the Hotel manager doesnt want anyone to use the resturant. Very unhelpful.
Parking was excellent. Location close to Vezelay perfect.
The room was very hot with a tiny fan. I would not choose to stay in the summer again.
Gated free car parking in front of the hotel building, which ensures security. Relatively large space and buth tab is available. Quiet in the night.
It's not far from Vezelay, but too steep for bicycle or walk. So, we had to use car. Breakfast was very simple.
parking is so convenient, nice to stop over for a night stay before driving to Anncey. the cute town is near by, worth a short visit. don’t forget to try the restaurant located about 200 meter away… really good! it’s called Restaurant Le crecholien.
we got the highest floor, which is quite a challenge for us, girls to bring up our luggages. it would be nice if someone could help us.
Location, hygiene, parking, large room.
Very bad bed. In my opinion not acceptabel when renting out a sleeping place. The matrass seems years overdue.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was clean and good value for money. We’d happily recommend it
Great location
We arrived late but the hotel was kind enough to allow a late checkin.
The room was good and the airconditioning did function well, for it was terribly hot outside.
Beautiful location
Very good
It was quite cold in the room, only the bathroom was warm enough.
