- A beautiful old building sympathetically restored to provide large, comfortable rooms. The bathroom was superb. The breakfast was excellent. On site parking was very useful.
- It was a beautiful room. Friendly people. Quite room. Delicious breakfast. Nice view. The shower was spacious.
- I recently stayed at Le Manoir in Marche-en-Famenne and had a generally pleasant experience, but with a few drawbacks. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. The rooms are nicely decorated but on the smaller side, and I encountered a minor inconvenience with the bathroom door, which didn’t open fully. One issue was the noise from the brasserie next door, especially on Sunday night, when late-night guests were quite loud.Breakfast was another disappointment. I had reserved breakfast, but to my surprise, it was only available until 9 AM. I admit I should have checked the hotel's information more carefully, but I had assumed, as in most hotels, that breakfast would be served until 11 AM. I arrived at 9:45 AM but was not given the chance to sit down and have something to eat, despite having paid for it. This was quite frustrating. That being said, I understand why Le Manoir receives high ratings—it is clean and well-located near the city center. However, for me personally, the high price did not match the overall experience.Would I stay again? Possibly, but only if the price were more in line with what the hotel offers.
Cons -
- Perhaps a little more space for hanging/storing clothes. The instructions for digital check in seemed complicated but in reality it was easy and the opportunity to get a physical key card was brilliant.
- There was no door between the sleeping room and toilet/shower.
- Access to the hotel room was keyless, via one's smart phone, which was fine, except that it didn't work when we tried to get back into our room after breakfast. Only a minor inconvenience, however, as a more conventional key was soon provided.

Great location, in the middle of the village. Good parking spots and fabulous breakast.
There was no door between the sleeping room and toilet/shower.
Room was fine - clean and comfortable - in an historic building, but with fresh, modern amenities, including bathroom. Dinner in the restaurant attached to the hotel was superb. Breakfast was in the hotel itself - also very good. Plenty of private parking on the hotel premises.

We had an amazing stay. The hotel is very modern, while keeping the charm of the historic Manoir. We also enjoyed an amazing outside lunch and homemade breakfast with local products.
Fabulous comfortable room .Breakfast was a lovely experience with a delicious selection and the the staff were excellent . I would recommend to stay as one word sums up this hotel,,,, Wonderful .
Check in a little confusing . Perhaps a small notice to check your e mails for details .
Beautiful suite and fabulous bathroom, a few minutes walks from various eateries, free parking and in an ideal location. Would definitely return
In our view, dustbins should be emptied daily and the general housekeeping could be improved but overall it was a fabulous stay in a beautiful suite and would recommend to anyone
Our experience at this hotel was really nice. The check-in is digital which was very easy and accessible. The building itself is nice and located in the city centre. The room (double superior) was clean and the bathroom very nice. The staff was really friendly and careful, which we very much appreciated. We also enjoyed the shared coffee and tea machines!
The pillows of the bed were not super comfortable and some extra ones would have been appreciated; the breakfast was well prepared and made, everything looked good but relatively simple for the corresponding price
modern design in old house town centre very pretty nice trees nice breakfast room two nice ladies very helpful .The manager lady was helpful and BOOKED US A TABLE AT A NEARBY RESTAURANTE .AND SAVED THE DAY.Room temperature nicely controlled .
Should be a bottle of complimentary water and coffee in the rooms . The shower trays are NOT none slip you have to use a towel or risk a fall.
Clean, wireless checkin. Easy to find. Free parking. Amazing fresh breakfast buffet!Nice bath!
Breakfast only available until 9am.
Tasteful and comfortable Nice amenities Great Breakfast (Homemade)Complete private and digital check in formalities
Nothing to complain about
Comfortable room. Digital key really handy. Nice bath
Beautiful property, super clean and great breakfast! Would recommend including this in your booking as it was great quality and value for money with a wonderful host. The bathtub in our suite was also divine! And the restaurant on site very convenient with good food.
The only suggestion I have is to put another 2 pillows in the room for the bed for more comfortable.
Loved it all. Comfy room. Superb breakfast and a fabulous meal at the attached restaurant.
We only stayed one night!
We loved this hotel! The electronic side to the checking in and even electronic keys was fun and really useful (you can arrive whenever you like). Someone is always on site if you have a problem or questions. I was told that they will soon be installing a key card dispenser for those who don’t enjoy the electronic key aspect. The room was super clean and the finish to the renovations were amazing (rebuilt in 1616 after the great fire). Breakfast was delicious. All local products, wide selection of goods, champagne and bacon and eggs are offered too. Service always with a smile and the lady was so helpful with advice on restaurants, visits, history of the hotel. The contrast between the high-tech sleeping area and the friendly welcome one the beautiful historical breakfast room is a great success. Well done!We loved this and will be back soon!
Perhaps a second pillow on the bed? (but I’m sure it would have been available if I’d asked)
Room and bathroom definitely high quality with a lot of space and excellent finishes.Absolutely central position with good parking.Excellent breakfast with local and homemade products.Virtual key.
Lack of wardrobes or other places to store clothes and items. Lack of reception and physically present staff which can be a problem in case of special requests
The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and big. Everything looks very nice.
I like the coffee machine outside the room. For a more luxury feeling I would like real glasses/cups for the coffee and tea. The bath is great but I missed a stand for a glass or book.
Beautiful room. Nice breakfast with friendly host.
Locatrion was good and the rooms are a nice size. Parking was close and the coffee machine and drinks area was nice. Great for exploring the locality.
The place itself is nice but annoying that it is a self-service/remote hotel which is not clear in the advertisement. However it was fine once we'd worked it all out and settled in. But...the worst part by far was a bathroom that is part of the bedroom ie a toilet and shower as part of the main room - NOT GOOD. Sorry but I didn't like this at all - no privacy whatsoever for a couple.
