Pros +
- Dinner was amazing and a wonderful price. Breakfast was good. Buffet was nice. Price was a little bit more than I would have paid for what I ate.
- Beautiful grounds, the Chateau is literally surrounded by vineyards. Incredible view from our living room. We had a beautiful, tastefully decorated suite with a fireplace. Our kitchen fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans but we opted for dinners in the Top quality restaurant and lunches in the surrounding villages. The Chateau restaurant had a nice collection of wines and I was surprised by some some unexpected spirits, whiskies, rums and cigars. Great breakfast buffet. Welcoming, personable staff. The drive from the autoroute was scenic, wandering through rolling hills and small towns. This is a very peaceful area in Burgogne, not too far from Paris, with plenty of sight seeing destinations near by. Did I mention the wine?
- Fantastic place for those who want an immersion in the wine route, surrounded by vineyards and history. The suites are modern, clean, and comfortable. The highlight was the dinner at their restaurant, with excellent food and great wines recommended by the maître d'.
Cons -
- The decor on the inside did not fit the ambiance of the property as much as I would have liked.
- It was Autumn and the heating set up in our living room was not really functional. Kind of a historically typical problem in castles, especially with a really large living room / dining room open floor plan. A couple of the heaters were not working and I believe they were radiant style, kind of subtle. We lit up the fireplace and snuggled with blankets. No heating prob at all in our bedroom and bathrooms.
- We didn't get to enjoy the castle itself, as the suite we stayed in and restaurant were in the new building.

Large apartment with restaurant on the property. Pool was great
Gorgeous building in a fantastic location amid the vineyards. Great family rooms with small kitchen area. Can borrow bikes to explore locally and the pool is gorgeous. Great breakfast too
The location and the food were fantastic, definitely book yourself a dinner reservation
The rooms aren't air conditioned, which on the hottest night for years when we stayed was a little uncomfortable. But if I was in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to return
Lovely location, superb wine, pet friendly, friendly towards disability, good selection of wines
Restuarant looked nice but fully booked - all others in surrounding area quite busy so book in advance or have to drive a distance
The property was close to so many great wineries! It was quiet, peaceful, easy to get to places. Loved being able to sit out on the porch area and enjoy the view.
In our guest room, you could easily hear the people next door. The man was on the phone about 6:30am and we could hear the whole thing. Not what we wanted when we were still trying to sleep.
If you are looking for a place to visit / stop in Burgundy this is a very nice location. We unexpectedly needed somewhere to stop whilst driving back from the Alps and found this hotel / chateau. The rooms are a modern not classic style but this is fine. The restaurant was exceptional and more fine dining, there wasn't children's, simpler options but we found something they'd eat. Steak!
room, location, restaurant, dinner, breakfast
We had breakfast in our rooms. They brought us a basket with everything we needed. Excellent! Very comfortable beds. Surrounded by nature. Nice place to go for a walk. Our dogs enjoyed it very much!
we didn't have a plate to eat our breakfast.
This property is a fantastic stop on the road, conveniently located not too far from the motorway. I really appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere, especially the spacious family room with a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for a comfortable stay. The friendly dog adds a charming touch, making the place feel even more inviting. Another highlight is the excellent restaurant gastronomique, offering a delicious dining experience that makes the stop even more worthwhile.
Historical surrounding, large modern room, excellent views, quite by night. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Minor things like a pillow to big, shampoo is way to basic, but really don't spoil the picture
A great place to stop while driving through France - just off the motorway and in a pretty area. The dinner, though expensive, was first class.
It was a good overnight stay on our way to Spain. The accommodation looks great, we had a good stay. But please make a reservation in the restaurant because all the other ways to have diner are not close by.
Very good restaurant food, expensive, but really tastyBeautiful gardens outside
Asked to fix wifi, nothing has been done. Nowhere wifi worked, not in a room, restaurant or anywhere else in hotel. Hotel should not advertise that they have wifi. Cant open windows for fresh air because of loud noises outside. Very difficult to sleep, no air conditioning and the room just becomes unbearable. Generally room very small with uncomfortable bed and pillows way to large. Haven't rested all night, was very happy to leave.Won't be back, not worth it €200 a night!
Beautiful setting. Dining outside in a lovely setting both for dinner and breakfast. very dog friendly which is a plus
Fabulous chateau with lovely gardens and a good pool. Great views of vineyard & landscape all around (except from our room). Our accommodation was in the modernised section (old barns/stables?) nicely done. Excellent restaurant: dinner & wines delicious, breakfast generous and equally delicious.
Our room overlooked the staff car park and staff entrance which made it noisy till quite late (11-12 pm).
Thanks to the beautiful weather we enjoyed our meals outside. This was very comfortable. The meals (dinner and breakfast) were lovely.
We arrived a bit before the rooms were ready and felt unsure how to spend the time waiting for the room.
The room was very nice but could have been a little larger. The restaurant was very good and exceeded my expectations with good service.Breakfast was very good.
Difficult to pick anything we didn't like.
