    Pros +

    • Location is superb, a 50 meter walk from a parking garage and right on the edge of the old city centre. Good value for money.
    • Nice breakfast with good choice
    • Great location right in the old town. Lovely old building. Comfortable beds good heating. Amazing breakfast. If you require parking it's €9 not €4 as listed on the website. Parking is in a public parking garage.

    Cons -

    • The place is a bit outdated, maintenance could be better.
    • Car park 18 euro for 1 night
    • The only thing that bothered me were the internal sounds that come with obviously being a very old building, so I'm not sure if anything can be done to fix all the creaking noises, and just have to accept it as part of the charm. The staircase circled up past my room on the first floor, and every single stair creaked like mad whenever people went up/down. One night there were people in the room on the floor above me, and everytime they walked across or around their room the sound of their floorboards creaked and intruded quite loudly. I put my noise-cancelling earplugs in but could still partly hear the creaking. For me, that was only thing I didn't like, and I'd imagine others who are noise-sensitive might feel the same. It definitely does not outweigh all the other fantastic aspects of Hotel Frankfurter Hof, and I'll gladly pay to stay here again on my next trip to the area.

Beautiful location, turn right out the door and you're immediately in die Altstadt, very easy walking distance to all the sights, delicious bakeries, inns, and little boutique shops. Turn left out the door, go up the road a few minues and you're in the middle of all the shops, with the Hauptbahnhof no more than 10min walk from the front door. Friendly owner, very comfortable room, large bathroom, hot shower with good water pressure. I was a bit apprehensive about the bed at first because it felt so soft I thought I'd have a bad back in the morning, but if anything it was the complete opposite -- I had an amazing sleep every single night, and would wake up feeling so comfy I didn't want to get out in the mornings!!!

The hotel was in the heart of the town. very comfortable and clean. noNoone bathers you. is not a 5 start hotel but is was very clean and quite. it was right around the corner from my sister's apartment. The owner was very polite and frfriendly. the price was very fair.

    there is no elevator.

    Nice room

When I booked my room I first couldn't get into the hotel as it was locked. I finally called the owner and somebody let me in. It said it had free Wi-Fi but the Wi-Fi didn't work and when I went down to go to the reception to ask multiple times, the door to reception was locked and I don't believe anybody else was in the hotel other than me. I don't believe there was any heating on in my room either.

breakfas was OK. Parking hall was next to hotel, and inexpensive. Hotel was in the very middle of the city.

The room was at the top floor and since it was a hot day, also the room was very hot. There were no fans available.

The breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly.

The coffee was not good so I went to the coffee bar down the street.

Good size room and bathroom. A delicious continental breakfast to start the day and within walking distance to many restaurants and cafes.

    The stairs, but they're everywhere.

Breakfast from 8:00 is not compatible with breakfast travellers. Although I booked the room with breakfast and pai for it, I had to skip ny breakfast as U had to leave before 8:00.

Breakfast should start from 7:00 if the hotel targets business travelers.

Breakfast and breakfast room were nice.Location was perfect. Not to far from the highway and in the center of the village.

It was clean but a bit dated

    5AlbertoPosted on: 12-5-2022

    Hospitality of the owners

Outdated furniture and no suitcase holder.

    9MargaretPosted on: 10-21-2022

Room clean and tidy daily, with fresh towels.

The person who checked us in had little English. I think places which accept bookings from English speaking tourists should take this into consideration.

Breakfast was modest but good. Coffe/tea was limited to one cup. Location is very close to city centre which is very beautiful. Full of good restaurants.

There was cold in 2 rooms. No heating at all. You have to pay in cash, no credit cards are accepted. No parking available at the hotel, You have to use parking house opposite street.

    8LesleyPosted on: 9-7-2022

Breakfast room was light and newly furnished.

The entrance and stairs were a bit tired looking.

    2DavidePosted on: 8-31-2022

    Not much

The staff doesn't speak English at all. There's no reception and you have to call in advance. I've specifically asked for an invoice and they made it wrong, it was impossible to have it changed. You can't pay with credit card anything less than 10€ I guess but it's unclear and not written. For the money you pay cash no invoice as well.... internet it's very bad in the room no way to work. Very noisy street and no ventilator or A/C. I will never come back

Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Spacious room and bathroom. Excellent location right in the centre of town with shops and restaurants near by.

Great location for the old town of Limburg. Room was spacious, nicely decorated, warm and comfortable, with a very good sized bathroom. Room was quiet too. Breakfast was the usual Continental style, with plenty to choose from. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again. There is also a well lit and clean car park, 1 minute walk away, that costs only 5€ for 24hrs. The Lady who checked us in, was very friendly, as was the Gentleman at breakfast. Thank you for having us.

In the centre of town. Friendly staff. Comfortable room with TV, WiFi, great shower. Substantial breakfast. Safe space in the garage for my bicycle. Overall, great one night stay.
