Pros +
- Stuff was really nice and helpful. They provide you with a food package for the day.Breakfast was nice and tasty.
- Beautiful setting and the staff are great. We got there late but they accommodated us at the restaurant
- Larger than normal bed room and large nicely decorated bathroom.Kettle in room was a nice touch but being English could have done with a sachet of whitener for that essential cup of tea in the morning.Good quality food and reasonably priced at the restaurant.
Cons -
- Wished we stayed longer
- Quite some distance up a mountain road from the main road, plus rather confusing as two almost identical properties opposite each other so waited in what appeared to be the main part but in fact is called the annex.A text explaining that beforehand or a sign would seem obvious.Very unhelpful and frenetic waiter.Probably the most ineffective hair dryer ever experienced.
- The WiFi coverage was very poor.

Nice position, nice village, ample room.
The WiFi coverage was very poor.
Breakfast!
The room had intense smell, there were no internet signal. SPA is working only till 7PM
I traveled with a car, so it was a good way to spare a couple of euros for the room as well as for the parking. My objectives were a long walk through Colmar and a hike around Lac Blanc/Lanc Noir in Vosges (which I cordialy advise to take). The location of the hotel just between those two point was perfect. It also can be a good idea to visit the hotel's restaurant - I was positively surprised with it.
It has nothing to do with the hotel, but DON'T TRUST GOOGLE MAPS on your way here and back. It has no idea. Stay on the good paved road, don't buy the idea of a "faster route" - you will end up in front of "No entry" sign or a barrier. Learned it the hard way.
The staff were very helpful when we arrived they had stopped serving food ,but they did manage to feed us.The breakfast was good
Spa included in the room price
Outdated building and overpriced restaurant
Nice location and the staff was very helpful.
The noise isolation within the building is rather poor. When the first guest get up and start closing doors you automatically wake up too if you ar not a very deep sleeper.
Not convenient, spa closes early at 7. No WiFi capability
Not convenient location spa closes at 7pm beds we just ok.
Booking went well
We could not travel to Elsass that weekend. We booked a family room for two nights in this hotel. Unfortunately, 2 of our children got sick just that week. We cancelled the first day booking, aware that we would lose the first day payment. We asked for consideration for the 2nd day. The hotel would not hear of it. We were fully charged for 2 days, not using the room. We understand the non-refundable policy. Our issue here is customer service. Many travelers face unforeseen circumstances esp. traveling with children. Booking.com also tried in our behalf for consideration. This hotel did not budge. Kindness is a virtue. It goes a long way. Hence, we share our experience dealing with this hotel. This hotel only had this non-refundable option. It is up to the reader to take risks at non-refundable terms
Besides the rooms that are outdated everything was fine, clean room, nice food & friendly employees
Outdated rooms
I liked the quiet mountain location of this hotel. I also appreciated the easy use of the spa, after a tiring, traveling day. The room was big enough for 2 people, and the bed firm!
Not negative but would be appreciated if there was a small fridge in the room. sometimes, travelers bring snacks and provisions in their luggages when traveling by car. It would help to keep them cool during our stay esp. in summer season.
Beautiful area and lovely staff so friendly
Not much for vegetarian options on menu - was disappointing food and very expensive
Great value. Good food. Lovely village setting in hills above Colmar. Bar, bakery, local museum, green park and playground all across road from hotel
Spa not very child-friendly (no bathing suit requirement)
Staff was nice, the spa facilities were great. The location was also beautiful, in the mountains, close to Colmar as well. The room and bathroom were a very good size, nice big windows.
The room was a but outdated but it was good value for the money anywayWe were in the annexe which made it somewhat more difficult with getting the right information from staff
it was our best decision to stay here instead of the city. Excellent hotel. It is possible to visit the spa center for free, which we did for 2 days. The spa is not big but very good, there are several saunas, a steam room and a pool. There is also parking on the territory. We had a superior room, it looks better than in the photo. Also, I thank the staff for delivering dinner to the room when the restaurant was full. The location of the hotel is very good, it's quiet, the view of the mountains. Keep in mind that in winter you will need snow chains! And please check the road, because at first our navigator took the wrong road and we drove along the cobblestones (with dangerous descents). But there is a different nice road nearby and you will get to Colmar in 20 minutes. It is also obligatory to go to a wine degustation and drive along the wine road. Visit small towns. You'll like it. In Colmar I recommend to be no more than 1 day.
nice region
breakfest starting from 8, need more cleaning
The location was beautiful, idyllic.
There is limited places to eat once there and we didn't feel the staff at the restaurant were that accommodating, basically I wouldn't describe it as service with a smile. The lady at the front desk was very polite though. Small waiter had an attitude problem.
No value and far away from anything
After we travelled 12 hours through three countries to try to make it to check-in time deadline, we were greeted with "in ten minutes we close the restaurant". In general very poor staff attitude. The room was a total disaster. I rent out a mobile home in Munster and we have much better amenities for much lower the prices. They charged us more than 500 EUR for a terrible room in a building that was not used as a hotel anymore.
