Old fashioned motel - aircon in the room during France's hottest day on record was a godsend. The place is old and does feel a little dated but was perfectly adequate for the purpose.

No towels and getting some was a bit of a challenge for reasons that were not clear.

Free car parking on site. Breakfast good. Room adequate

Reception could not trace my booking. Eventually after showing my email from them they appeared to find it. No warm welcome as such. Limited tea/coffee/milk facilities. Car park not totally secure, partially fenced and notice states non gardé.We asked if restaurant needed reserving and were told the restaurant was not open as it was the weekend!!! They could have prepared us a pizza though. Two main reasons for booking here was that it had secure parking ( bearing in mind we had a car full of belongings) and secondly it had a restaurant. In the past we have arrived at overnight accommodation to find no restaurant on the premises and have had tondrive aome.way to find one. After having driven 400+miles I did not want a long drive or a long walk. This was a major disappointment as the restaurant information talked about gourmet meals being prepared by the chef for lunch and dinner. The description states that the property lies between a beautiful area on the edge of Fontainebleu forest and Paris. Hardly an accurate description. It's in a scruffy residential area where numbers of youths were wandering aimlessly about. When I went to check out I had to ask for the invoice and now having looked at I see that it was for 10€ more than quoted. Overall then a disappointment and description not accurate. I am not sure we had the bigger 190sq fr room. It seemed too snug for that..

Good location for the forest. Good restaurant available at the hotel. Close to other facilities and shops

Awful mattress.....Room had a damp smell...,damp on wall near bed.

The room service was non existent despite leaving card out for room to be made up it never was over our 3 days, there was no hairdryer in room either

We book at Campanile every year because of the convention we attend every year in that area. But as compared to the service from way back and each year it has deteriorated.

The person in the accueil charged us an extra 10€ for an early check in. And then to find out from the other staff that it is not an official policy. And we can not reimburse it because the man in the accueil did not give us a receipt. I also forgot to ask because we were tired from the travel and we just want to freshen up before the convention starts.

Smelly room, I suspect the old carpet since bedding and towels were clean. Also the blinders were broken and right outside our room was a huge spotlight, so it was very bright all night.

That hotel was clean enough.

Staff do not speak English (or they do not want to speak English) I had to wait a long time at the reception to rent a room. In the morning an staff suddenly opened my room door and woke me up, which was very rude.

Noisy, cigarette smell in the room, expensive compared to what was offered.

There wasn't enough staff working at the check-in counter when we arrived. There was only one person and she was busy taking payments from the customers in the restaurant who kept cutting in front of me in the line.

Very helpful, accommodating and friendly staff.Very comfortable room.

I couldnot do a room to room call. Maybe the phone system was not designed for it or the reception staff was not knowledgeable enough about the phone system.

Location

We left the hotel early and there was no one to collect our keys. We had to ask a friend to drop it.

I like the room.....

one staff member,while we were having breakfast she kept starring at us...the restaurant could do with some more selection the bread was hard not a lot of choices.Some plates were dirty...the outside could do with a new look not very attractive at the moment.

I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s close to where I needed to be.Breakfast was good and the staff are friendly and polite.

It was big double duvet, additional heater, ground floor with direct access to the parking, parking was closed after 22:30,shower gel was good

It was far away from train station and shops, city center

This was my second stay at hotel minor hiccup first time but quickly resolved on second stay Location was Ideal for me. staff friendly and tolerant as I don't speak French.

The size of the room could be bigger.
