    Pros +

    • Location and cleanliness.
    • A little gem of a place just off the A10Have stayed here twice now as an overnight stop over on our way between uk and south west France and it's been fabulous both times.Great location on the edge of a forest, fabulous restaurant, large clean room and friendly, english speaking staff. We'll be back!!
    • A lovely calming ambience, loved the decor and design and a nice rural location for outskirts of Paris. A welcome retreat after a stressful Friday rush hour drive round Paris!

    Cons -

    • We paid for room with a double bed and two twins beds. We confirmed directly with the hotel. We got a pullout couch and 2 twin beds. Beds are a priority for an overnight accommodation. We did not get what we paid for. So our stay was horrible. Your service staff on duty was not capable to provide a solution and were terrible at dealing with a customer complaint.
    • Everything was great
    • The ski room is actually just a hallway, which is fine. But no heated rack for ski boots.

The stay was comfortable and the room was clean and cozy. I wish I could have diversity in the breakfast. The choices were limited

    8AdrianPosted on: 2-25-2025

Very well located, in centre of pitoresque village of Grainau. Superb view to the mountains. 5-7min walk (in ski boots) to the Grainau train station . Nice old style hotel, including a room for gathering with friends.

The ski room is actually just a hallway, which is fine. But no heated rack for ski boots.

Good open air parking for the car, good sound proof windows and room, large room with good internet, amenities, very comfortable bed. The breakfast was good with good quality products. The dinner at the restaurant was exceptional, and the prices for the dinner were a positive surprise.

The pictures of the room were not representative of the actual room. This is the only reason for which I put a 9 and not a 10. For the rest everything was excellent.

We arrived Christmas day evening Having stayed overnight at french hotels on Christmas day before we weren't expecting much to be openHow wrong we were!Restaurant, bar and reception offered an excellent and friendly serviceOnly stayed one night on our way to southern france but we'll definitely be coming back

Location is quite remote and quite hard to find. Not on our sat Nav.

Fabulous hotel, spacious rooms and food available from room service even when restaurant closed. The restaurant food was delicious! Kind and friendly staff.

A minor detail, but a fridge in the room would be helpful.

fantastic helpful stuff, brilliant restaurant, we took fondue and also a lot of wine. Super good location on the way from Spain to UK

I loved the bath! And my little terrace. Beautiful green environment with horses. It's nice and calm. Closeby Paris. The people are very friendly, even at late hour!

    9AlanPosted on: 10-25-2024

The property is located in green fields with horses and a great view of Paris. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the cheese selection is second to none! Rooms are large and very comfortable!

The breakfast seems a bit steep at €23

    Nature

You cannot find hotel in the night. Very difficult. Only one small information board on the road. Breakfast was not goed enough for the price. Can be more beter.

Lovely countryside location. Great food, especially the cheese! Very comfortable beds.

The property itself is beautiful and spacious and clean , the staff are horrendous. We stayed for 4 nights and had to practically beg the housekeeping to do their job. Everyday I would call reception to let her know no housekeeping came to my room to clean or anything and she would “send them up” they’d never come when they did come all they did was make the bed and change the towels. I stayed for 4 nights and my bedding sheets weren’t changed once , I had to continuously ask for the room to be done properly and keep going back and getting more things for the room since housekeeping decided not to refill the tea and coffee station , not to give new robes no toilet roll and no shampoo or conditioner or soap refill?

We weren’t made aware of the city tax until check out which was a shock, hotels are meant to charge the city tax or make customers aware of it immediately at check in and we weren’t made aware of it we assumed our room price we paid which said includes all charges and taxes included all charges and taxes? The staff very rudely just demanded money at checkout with no context until we refused to pay until she broke down each cost and provided an invoice , very confusing staff to deal with their English is very bad so if you don’t know French don’t bother staying here.

    3RobbiePosted on: 8-31-2024

    Breakfast was very limited

I didn’t sleep for two nights as the hotel had delivery trucks at 2am and 3.15 am outside my room window No air conditioning so the window was open and for 200 euros a night you would expect as a minimum aircon. No mini bar for cool drinks in 30 degrees weather

Amazing accommodation for my 2 dogs. Rooms very specious with balcony

    7CleoPosted on: 7-11-2024

Location, parking and breakfast all good.

Service at dinner was not great.

    9HansPosted on: 6-21-2024

Quiet location just south of Paris. Great and friendly staff. I will come back.

    7Hamid N.Posted on: 6-10-2024

If you are going to Paris by car, this could be a very good option price-wise as to compare with hotels in Paris. However, you need to expect 20-45 minutes drive between hotel and Paris (almost always trafic in highway).Nice view around the hotel with friendly staff and free parking

There was a wedding ceremony at the hotel and the music was too loud till 3 AM!!When we called the reception, we were told that they could do nothing about it!!Watch out for the quite high tax per person per night i.e. €8.13 for 4-star hotels, so this hotel. In our case €65 for two for 4 nights, which is charged on top of what you pay for booking.

Great stay - got an upgrade and the room was very spacious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious.

Maybe the room could have a bit more decoration as it looked a bit empty.
