- The hotel was situated in the centre of this small town. It was lovely, with rooms which were very comfortable and rather nicely decorated. The bathroom was also lovely.
Cons -
- Due to unforeseen family bereavement reasons, we had to cancel the reservation. We sent the notice of cancellation via booking.com, asking not to pay the cancellation fee. Not having received a response, we contacted the facility to ask if it was possible to avoid the penalty, but they responded with a firm "NO" and that was it, quite clearly, without understanding the situation. In order not to lose the reservation, we asked the property if it was possible to have friends living in the area stay overnight, and they said yes. Check-in was between 5pm and 7pm. Our friends showed up at the hotel at 5.30pm and the facility was closed. I leave further comments to you...
- It was very hot when we were there, so it would have been good to have a fan in the room. Also, it was a shame that the bar and restaurant were not open, even though it must be said, we did have a wonderful breakfast at the local bakers just a few minutes walk away.
- The double windows are somewhat annoying, as to leave the windows open at night, you can't draw the curtains closed. Subsequently, I was constantly afraid the latch from the first window would hit and break the second window. This is just a minor annoyance; nothing against the stay or facility at all (the place is a traditional German small town hotel, and has probably been there for centuries).

The apartment has two rooms, one with a fireplace and a large TV, the other with a large bed. The place was very nice and clean. I would suggest adding a kettle and two cups for people who would like to make their own cup of coffee in the morning, as the place doesn't offer breakfast. The staff was very nice and polite. I fully recommend this place.
Food is EXCELLENT.

Superb old building, comfortable bed and room. No breakfast available but this understood, at time of booking, due to staff shortages.
needs an update
open electrics in the bathroom where ones a light must have been , forgotten furniture repairs behind the door in the bath
The staff was superfriendly for the dog, the food in the restaurant was superb! They also helped with questions or practical things in a very friendly and constructive way.
The cleanliness, it was ok but some details like thewindow in the bathroom could have been cleaned better. Then again, it’s a hotel where dogs are allowed… there were no traces of pets of any kind. ??
Nice decor, room was quiet despite being close to the street.
There was no one around in the morning and no info was provided regarding breakfast or how to checkout
modern and spacious room. great amenities. breakfast was excellent
hotel is located in a very small village, don’t expect to see or do much around. but it’s great for a short stay or as a base to visit other nearby towns
