- Owner was really nice, we checked in late at night. He offered us bottled water, breakfast (which was not included in our reservation), let us choose our room between two that were available and told us we could check out any time we wanted, didn't rush us out 9 am the next morning. Don't expect anything fancy, but the place is more than enough for its price. Location is good for staying the night while travelling from one place to another, there's not much to see in the surroundings.

- It wasn’t in Messina and Bookibg.com has a lot to answer for Hotel Piro appears as the second hotel when you trod in Messina. Unfortunately the Hotel is 50 miles away from Messina so how booking.com can bundle Torrenova into Messina beats me but after all Booking.com is in the Netherlands and would know where Torrenova was! Very disappointing from them.

unscheduled stop at this hotel. Very clean, rather quiet. Very friendly and helpful host. Parking in front and good pizzeria besides. Very good value for money.
