About
Wellness center with heated pool": there is no swimming pool. The relaxation area has a Turkish bath (hammam) and a jacuzzi. Free private parking is 1.9 mi away": the car park is approximately 2297 feet from the hermitage, and staff provide a free jeep ride from the car park up to the property. Please also clarify the access road: from the provincial road, the last stretch is an unpaved track of about 5 mi through the woods, normally drivable in a standard car at a gentle pace. A sweet buffet-style breakfast is served daily": the stay is full board. One all-inclusive rate covers breakfast, lunch and dinner (vegetarian cuisine), water and wine with meals, and herbal teas. Missing essential facts: Eremito is a digital detox retreat. There is no Wi-Fi and no television, and mobile phones are not used in the communal spaces. Dinner is shared in silence every evening, accompanied by Gregorian chant. Pets are not allowed. The property is located in the UNESCO Monte Peglia Biosphere Reserve and is a B Corp certified ecoresort.

- Nothing, the staff were helpful and that’s about it..
- It was a little gem. Was recommended by Jen Corcoran who has ran retreats there. It was everything she described it to be and more.Heading back there in October.A special place, perfect get away from the craziness of our busy lives. Peaceful and serene. The food was fabulous. Thanks guys
- Amazing place to go to relax, read, meditate, do yoga, great beds, fresh air and water and the food was amazing.
Cons -
- At check-in we were informed that the hotel had no beverages, except water and red wine, in 40 plus degrees temperature.. the only small spa pool was heated.. the dinner was vegan, uncooked and shoddy presentation, and the funniest thing ever we were told to sit in silence throughout the meal, and if we did speak.. as you can see, none of this was specified in the hotels description and facilities on booking.com. The price of the room was that of a five star hotel and this hotel was more like a hostal. The double room was the size of a cupboard, with no a/c, metal based beds, and no toiletries.
- Can't think of anything
- I liked everything but it’s not a spiritual retreat center, it’s a remote hotel which means that some guests are noisy and have no consideration for the peace and tranquility of the place. If you understand that, you’ll have a better stay.
