Pros +
- breakfast is excellent (variety & quality)Excellent amenities (pool. spa, private beach).Private beach is just a few steps from the resort; excellent facilities (umbrella or cabana) and spotlees clean services.
- Beach was great, easy to get to and with a beach bar/restaurant. The grotto pools were nice bur many of the jets were not working in the pools.
- Diletta was wonderful and very helpful as we changed rooms from a luxury room to a suite. We paid more but it was worth every penny. She went out of her way to help with taxis and electric bike rental. She made our experience extra special and along with the amazing beach with Ritz like setup and restorative salt pools, this was our best experience yet in Italy.
Cons -
- the bar could provide a more extended menu (beverages and food)the wardrobe space is limited
- Temperature controls were not working in our rooms. When we discussed this issue with the front desk they acknowledged that the systems were not working but said we are closing in ten days for a couple of weeks so we won't fix it until then. Just told us that we have to live with no temperature control and offered no other compensation or consideration.
- The bed in the comfort level looked uncomfortable (we had two rooms as we were traveling with family).

Salt water pools were excellent. Good location. Great walking in and around the hotel, plus the amusement park for kids nearby was fabulous. Beach setup was great. Great food.
No gym facilities. Decor slightly dated.
The resort was perfectly located in town on the beach and near the wineries. The staff was excellent and helpful in all cases. Our room had a view of the sea and was fabulous and the spa was exceptional and beyond our expectations.I have recommended my friends who are coming so to this place.
The spa staff were really friendly and we had some great treatments there from Lisa. The entrance lobby was very nice and a great drinks list in the bar.
The hotel needs some money spending on it. The spa pools are nice but need a bit of freshening up around the edges. Mould on the windows. The 80s love songs in the restaurant tie in with the faded grandeur of this very traditional hotel.
You have more or less everything you need but, at he end of the day, the best you can have.It is right to ask guests not to wear bathrobes and slippers in the dining room but it's pointless if not observed
Service was fair, but below expectations at a 5 star facility; - the room had some inconvenience (e.g. the shutters would not shut well, the room temperature was not possible to set to an appropriate level and remained too hot, the bed pillows were not best comfort, bathroom cleanliness could be better, ...);- the swimming pool was rather a spa pool, very different from a truly swimming pool;- breakfast missing low fat milk, jams of poor quality (more sugary than fruity).
The salt water pools are very relaxing. The area is nice with a lot of beautiful trees.
The hotel is very old and urgently needs renovation. The AC was not working, so we had to open windows and then deal with mosquitos… The beach bar was closed.
Location
The room was very warm and even though we asked to lower the temp. The room stayed between 24.5-25 C.
Upon arrival the staff was super , very friendly and helpful. The spa was just unbelievable. I have traveled to spas around the world and this was truly the best. The steam bath was amazing !
Excellent.
OVER PRICED! Dinner menu overpriced and not portioned for an adult; beef steak portion and sea bass served sent us to bed hungry. Couple days later I ordered the steak again...this portion should have been discarded. On the last night we ordered "The catch of the day". The fish was cooked only on oneside and bloody. The took the order back and brought back the same fish uncooked. Menu prices are very expensive for what we got. Reported ceiling leak the second day, no attention was given.
Amazing, such a great property and amazing facilities. Everything is at your finger tips. So dog friendly!!!! Beautiful beach! Amazing breakfast and food overall. Such kind staff. Can’t wait to be back
Nothing, all was amazing
The food in the evening is delicious, the private beach is great, the spa area with all the jacuzzis is really nice. The 2 women taking care of the kids at the mini club are great, our daughter had a great time there.
Clearly not a 5 stars hotel, not worth the price. We stayed at Tombolo talasso for a week and we're disappointed in many aspects, especially after spending 4 days at Adler Spa which is another 5 stars hotel, in the same price range, in the same region, and is much better.First thing to know, Tombolo talasso allows dogs, which means you can expect to heard dogs barking at any time. We were waken up by a dog barking at 6:30am three mornings in a raw. People can be really disrespectful. Then, the rooms are not great. Small bathroom with the toilets inside, you can barely get in the bathtub to take a shower (yes it's not a real shower). We had booked a very expensive junior suite for our 10 years wedding anniversary, with our daughter, and there wasn't even a separation between our bed and our daughter 's bed.The air conditioning is bad, it's impossible to put the right temperature as the control panel does not display anything. Plus there were drops dropping from the ceiling, which we mentioned at the beginning of our stay but was never fixed. The cleanliness of the room was not great when we checked in, especially the floor where we could feel some sand. The service is uneven, sometimes good, sometimes very slow, waiters often forget things we order and we have to ask several times. The food at the beach restaurant is really bad while being expensive. Better go eat in a restaurant in the street near the sea for lunch. When we checked in the hotel, nobody proposed us a beverage or anything, not even water. Even though we booked half board, we still had to pay 4€ every evening for a simple bottle of water (of course there's no tap water in the restaurant). Many times we could not have seats to lay down at the swimming pool. It's unbelievable that in a 5 stars hotel and for the price paid there's not even enough seats near the swimming pool for the guests. And the seats are not so great, it's hard to find the shadow.
Great location
Not great value for money, room was tiny & the bed was not 5 star comfort level. A lot of the staff do not speak any English… this would have been excellent if it was ½ price.
Spa, pool, room. Front desk staff was nice. Beach was very close by. Massage was great.
Limited non seafood options in hotel and surrounding area. Very expensive.
Breakfast, Pool, beach, beach Bar everything was exzellent. Very good Staff. Damiano, the Bar Chef, absolutely marvelous and Spot on with his recommendations.
Close to the beach. Large room with a bit of a sea view.
Very small bathroom -could not sit square on the toilet. Pianist every night until midnight. Our room meant that we could hear it. Did not eat in the hotel dining room - the menu looked seriously over-priced. Breakfast was variable - on one occasion most of the fruit had been finished, and there was a big issue getting more milk. No communication in the room about the spa treatments. Staff very disinterested in letting us know.

Location excellent with beautiful beach setting and restaurant. Beach towel, chair umbrellas etc included in room rate. Easy access to local wineries and other destinations in Tuscany.Staff were all excellent housekeeping, porters bar and restaurant staff were all very good and friendly. Reception staff and management were exceptional, very helpful and knowledgeable.Hotel itself is stylish and modern with nice artistic touches and quality feel. Spa was brilliant and the pools very relaxing. Good air conditioning in bedroom. Good gym facilities and outdoor pool. Plenty of parking space. Safe and secure.Beach dinner on Saturday night was excellent, imaginative fish dishes paired with some quality local wines.Food very good, especially beach restaurant at which we ate on several occasions.
Dinner menu was a bit obscure and quite expensive which meant we ate out in various restaurants in the marina area at night.
Great location, beautiful facilities, delicious breakfast ? ?
Food for dinner at the restaurant was good, but prices are high for the amount of food you get.
