Canado Family Hotel

Club is small and crowded, pool is small than seems in pictures, food is basic and not too many options. Sport options are few and Club not suitable for families with older children.

We loved that the resort is very family oriented Staff a very friendly, courteous and helpful. The Breakfast was outstanding and really exceeded my expectations. On one of the nights we had the buffet for dinner which was lovely too. I was really impressed with the size of our apartment. There were 5 of us staying and it was very spacious.

There was nothing I particularly disliked

We were here in September and there was no sports nor animation for my 4-year old except the mini disco at 21.15. The beach costs 20 euro per day and there is no bar open except the restaurant. 2 out of 3 restaurants were closed. The staff in the main restaurant is friendly and the food okay, but not great. Definitely not 4-star worthy e.g. Scrammbled eggs were cold and the pancakes were suddenly gone after half the week and did not return. The bathroom is too small to properly wash your kid. There is not even a starter cleaning kit for the kitchen and the cleaning lady won’t even wipe the kitchen. Almost no stuff avalaible in the ‘store’ and to buy grocery or get something to eat you always have to take the shuttlebus to your car first before you can leave. Especially in bad weather this is horrible, allthough my kid loved it and the drivers were nice! The receptionists are very cranky and not open to any of the points I just mentioned. So not happy at all, but had to pay a lot of money.

Location- pefect for summer holiday with kids. Staff - everyone speaks English and very polite, friendly and helpfully. Food - excellent. All facilities- pefect

Baby club close to the pool and in an area which is too loud.No take away for dinnerI'd like some more quiet area, eg extend the playground by the pizzeria and move the baby club somewhere more quiet (and add the take away at dinner so we can have dinner on our great room balconies rather than in the busy restaurant)

Proximity to the sea and facilities, the super friendly staff, the spacious rooms, the good food at the buffet. They have funny spectacle in the evening if you understand or want to experience Italian humour.

The size of swimming pools too small compared to the number of guests.. also it is not obligatory to wear bonnet so lots of hair coming to your hands in the pool when you try to swim. Not hotels fault but the sea has jellyfish which they said not dangerous.

- i didn‘t like to get an offfer for the umbrella and the sun chairs on the beach after booking the holiday package; it is very high cost and should be possible to be booked imediately during the booking process- the sport pool picture looked much bigger on the website, i wanted to swim my lanes, but in reality the pool is small- a lot of plastic cups are used in the village, also plastic bottles, so not very invironment friendly approach

It was great that the resort was close to the beach and still had swimming pools. Then the kids could switch as they pleases. The room was spacious and the staff was very helpful. We utilized the beach service and it was worth the money.

The price for buffet and dining was overpriced. The buffet should be changed more frequently and the a la carte menu should be different from the buffet. The shuttle service was a little inconvenient for check in/out.

that is excellent location for children and adults ...beautiful beach id few meter from the camp...swimming pool is available all day.Fantastic activities for kids and youth. Bar and restaurant offered various and healthy food on breakfast ,lunch and dinner.Stuff was very friendly and always happy to help with everything we ask .If was some problems they sort it as fast as possible. I spend in CANADO CLUB one week and that was beautiful and relaxing time. I highly recommend this place.Malgorzata

I appreciated all the staff always available , polite and able for any help needed. Particularly we appreciated the staff at the restaurant and coffee shop.

It is a family-friendly place with lots of entertainment for kids. Lots of families and children. We loved the location on the beach and the beautiful pool. Staff were very helpful and friendly with big smiles. Loved the place and would be happy coming back again. Breakfast was excellent.

The food taste was not as i was aspecting. Also, information before buying about what are offered were enough, for example i did not know that at ultra all inclusive one has to pay for drinks.

A family hotel, very suitable for families with children, directly on the beautiful, clean and child-friendly sandy beach. Breakfast was very good. Although every day the same, but you always had enough there and there was always everything, cheese, sausage, eggs, sausages, cereal, yogurt, etc.. Coffee was not so great, but you could drink it. Lunch was sometimes mediocre, sometimes very good, so overall good. Unfortunately, lunch was very busy, but the hotel was also completely booked at the time.The location on the beach is fantastic. Just in swimwear out of the room and to the beach in under 2 minutes. The beach is long in both directions, the guests spread out very well without crowds and stress. There are hotel showers right on the beach, great. The beach is clean, suitable for children, safe. This is a family hotel, there were no parties or loud celebrations. The hotel is very suitable for children, most guests were families with children. Despite this, or because of this, it was very cultured and pleasant. The pool is clean and not crowded. There are enough sunbeds at the pool.

The sunbeds on the beach with the umbrellas cost extra, depending on the season currently around 30 €/day. But that is typical for Italy. For us it was not worth it, we could spread our umbrella and our large beach blankets but next to the sunbed area, so ok. We also brought beach towels and saved the paid beach towel service of the hotel with it.Not so great is the infrequent cleaning of the room. In 10 days the room was cleaned only once. The cleaning was good, but 2-3 times cleaning per stay would be better. We resorted to the brooms provided and cleaned ourselves, but in a 4 star hotel we would have expected a little more frequent cleaning.Food was quite crowded, but the hotel was also fully booked.We were lucky with our room right next to the forest - those who have their room right by the pool/street/animation area are certainly not as satisfied.The shuttle from the parking lot goes regularly. But you don't need a shuttle, walking 10 minutes is usually no problem at all. It is a pity that passengers have to breathe the exhaust fumes of the shuttle, an electric motor would be more pleasant and also more representative for the hotel.Caution, in the upper bunk beds of the children, the drop-out protection is not firmly mounted!!! Our child rather slept in the lower bed after the fall-out protection fell out of the upper bunk bed during the night.

The facilities provided were excellent. But the real value was provided by the children club and entertainment staff - they were truly magnificent! Our 2 boys (8 and 2) both had an incredibly enjoyable time; "Best family holiday ever!!!"

Accommodation was great. The environment, the program, the food and also staff. Especially one man (unfortunately we don’t know his name, but he was driving the train on the day of our departure). Ideal place for family.

Dinner was from 19:15, which was late for us, because our daughter goes to sleep at this time.

Food at restaurant buffet was excellent (we have taken half-board). The beach is very beautiful and enough large to have place (we didn't use the service of chairs/umbrella). Swimming pools are nice, and the appartement as well.

Entertainments at the evening were only in italian - difficult to participate or understand for non italian speakers. The service of chairs/umbrella on the beach is too expensive (20euros per day).
