Pros +
- Close to the old town. Fair breakfast.
- Staff were friendly and courteous. Hotel is just a short walk away from the historic centre and just a few mins away from supermarket and other shops. Private parking, although tricky to find when you first arrive.
- Good
Cons -
- Parking was very confusing - don’t navigate to the hotel. You need to drive through the back of town to a different street address to park. Rooms were very tight - difficult to open the suitcase. Bathroom very squished. I’m used to small / odd shaped rooms in small towns, but this is a more modern hotel and it felt quite claustrophobic. While close to the old town, there is no pedestrian lane to cross the bridge so we ended up walking into town through the back roads - a little further but much safer.
- The room was very small, the bed uncomfortable and the hotel has a very tired feeling to it.
