Hotel Garibaldi

Personnel were very friendly and helpful.

The location is out of town.

Beautiful garden between hotel and restaurant, secure parking , well appointed rooms, wonderful restaurant and staff

It was bad smelling.

Room was very dark. There was no slippers.

Property was clean and well-maintained. Staff members were friendly. Room rate was very reasonable. Breakfast (included with room) was good.

Air conditioning was not available. During our stay, it wasn’t entirely necessary, but would have been nice to have, as the weather was humid.

Hotel Garibaldi deluxe room was very nice, lots of space and extra seating. Bathroom very good. Really appreciate the coffee and tea making facilitiets in the room. The dogs Leopoldo and Fred were a nice homey aurprise.

A few more bread options with breakfast would have been nice. It can get a bit noisy in the room from other giuests although it is Italy so everyone has loud conversations.

We like this hotel. The staff are kind and helpful, rooms good, it has a lovely garden and an excellent restaurant. Very conveniently located for us travelling between Geneva and Pisa. A good, secure car park too, under the hotel building.

Everything was great, however the evening meal in the associated restaurant was exceptional, one of the best fine dining experiences we have had, which was a complete surprise, not cheap but fantastic value, will book again

The hotel is located behind the main building on the street and there is a nice garden in the middle. The rooms are very quiet and clean.The breakfast was good.The owner and the rest of the team were very friendly and welcoming!

The Hotel

The Restaurant. We do not object to price but what you get for your money in the lovely lounge was abysmal. The risotto was thin covering on the plate, but the main dish two small pieces of duck with a small half of potato covered on top with a could be tomato. The only good thing was the service.

We stayed for one night as a stopover. I would say that it was a great decision! Very good location for a stopover.Very helpful and friendly staff. Amazing restaurant with a good wine card. Room is clean nothing special but everything you need.

We were thrilled. We stayed for a stopover only one night.We hat dinner in the restaurant and it was absolutely amazing. Still smell the truffles on the best risotto I ever had!The room was very clean, new and had a nice terrace.Breakfast as well was very good.We will come back, that’s for sure

Nice and small old fashioned family hotel.

Amazing dinner at the on-site resturant (Bislakko); among the best meals I have had in my life! Terrific seafood (I had octopus and red mullet) and a delicious pastry as a dessert (there is a large selection of unique and hand-made pastries to choose from). Be sure to reserve a table when you stay here.The room is clean and confortable and has a nice terrace overlooking a quiet garden. The room has excellent air conditioning; although was hot when I arrived, but it quickly cooled to toom to a pleasant temperature.

A few minor quibbles:* Both the water pressure and the temperature in the shower are inconsistent.* The toilet lid was loose (I notified reception on check-out, so I expect this has been fixed in the meantime).* The terrace door opens the wrong way, so you have to move through a conifer tree to get to and from the terrace.None of this takes away from the amazing experience though.

The view of the hotel from the outside is nothing special, but once inside it is very pleasant, shut off from any traffic noise, in a "courtyard" arrangement with a nice garden at the centre. There is secure off-street parking in a large garage area under one of the buildings, with a lift up to reception. The room was well equipped and furnished - huge comfortable double bed. Good restaurant attached to the hotel, with some interesting taste variations on the menu. Waiting staff very cheerful, bright, and efficient. Nice touch from the padrone who came round to meet the guests after dinner. Good breakfast offered. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Very kind people, very nice restaurant with gourmand things, quiet, room nice garden, good breakfast, nice people, loving their metier! Good parking possibility in garage!!
