Pros +
- The view of the Mediterranean from high atop the hill was wonderful. We sat out on a bench in their nice garden and marveled at the view. The people were friendly and helped us order dinner. Their restaurant was excellent and deserves at least 4 stars.
- Good price. Free parking. Good food
- The staff were friendly, the room was clean.
Cons -
- The bathroom sink would back up when washing your hands...and dirt from the drain would float up into the sink. A problem that would be easy to fix...but we were only there 1 night.
- Bad was not confortable. Ecerithing in the room is aged.
- It’s not what I expected… the hotel is a bit far from the free beaches, there is at least a 10 minute walk along the main road ( there is no pathway ) which is a bit dangerous as cars / motorcycles come speeding in both directions. The room was extremely hot even with the ceiling fan working full blast! If we wanted air conditioning it was necessary to pay 10 euros a day!Not normal.Breakfast is mostly composed of sweet things ( cakes, pies, fruit, jams ) and just a few savoury things. Coffee is very good though.

We booked last minute for one night while already driving though Varraze. So the best thing was they had a room for 4 of us. The rooms was clean and the breakfast was OK, just the coffee was awful, you would not expect this in Italy :)
The price is a bit to high for what you get. Although the hotel is 100 meters from a beach, you have no way to get there. You need to drive Varazze, park you car there and then go to the other beach. Walking down the road is not comfortable as there is no pavement and the road is busy.
When traveling in this region it's hard to find rooms that can fit a larger family. This is one of the few places that had enough beds in a room to accommodate a family.
There wasn't a great way to get down to the beach, so the location wasn't as good as I had hoped. It looks like there is a way to get down, but all the gates were closed and locked. Please include the price of air conditioning in the room cost. It was weird paying and extra fee for air conditioning.
Good coffee and breakfast
Our room was located under the street and it was very loud during the night. They asked us for extra money to turn on aircondition. This was not ok and not writen on booking I think.
Nice place with a view, close to the sea but on a tall cliff. I've been there off-season and quite liked it - had to stay 2 nigts longer as my car broke down (yes, the starter) and it was a nice time. 30 minutes walk to the nearest town with trains to Savona or Genova. Decent breakfast and a very VERY helpful staff!
The hotel looks a bit like its best days are behind it - but still a nice experience!
not alot
said it was a short walk to town and beach.500m down hill then back up
Simple rooms simple bed simple furniture. Room cleaning service every day.
0815 low budget hotel, ok but without any flair or culture. The “rich” breakfast buffet that has been gloryfied on other online feedbacks was actually a lot of choice: of the cheapest industrial cheese, the cheapest industrial bred and 2 times pre baked croissants, discount cakes, the cheapest automat coffee… at least the apple was fresh and we were happy having found a musli dispenser The hotel may be ok for low budget travelers, for 1 night of travelling thru… but no recommendation for multiple night holiday stay
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the staff was amazing.

Basic hotel but fair enough. Very good price and ideal for one night if you have your own transport.
The beaches closeby were private and we got very limited info on where to go instead, even in Italian. The shower was not okay but the rest of the room was basic but functional. Windows didn’t open.
Nice little place by the sea on a budget good staff n clean rooms nice sea view
the views were amazing and it has free parking
the hotel smelt of fish and stale cigarettes.had to pay extra for air conbed was lumpyhairs in the bathroomno mirror in bedroomstrange lift
Briliant view , clean room .Best food ever .
I liked the view from the room (you could see the sea) and the room was clean and comfortable
Once arrived there was only some staff at the restaurant and no one at the reception, I was lost and since the Restaurant and the hotel are the same property, they could have asked me if I needed any help. Once once asked then they went to the desk to help me otherwise no one even said hello
The view from the window was great. The sea was just 10 minutes by walk. The parking was near the hotel.
When we already paid for the room we got an email that we need to pay additional 10 euro for the air conditioner. On the Booking.com app it was included in the room and when we said it the landlord said not to pay attention what is said on Booking.com.. Elevator didn’t work and we had to carry heavy suitcases by ourselves. Also the Wi-Fi signal was not good, we didn’t have it on a second floor.
the view and the location very practical to reach Vado Ligure harbour
the structure, the room, the service
Friendly, family run hotel. Nice restaurant serving large portions of good value food. Nice location close to the motorway.
Good rain shower
Stinky bathroom, small room, room assessories all built in with cement, noisy from 0600, for AC extra demanded EUR 10/day, parking free but parking behind barrier against EUR 6/day, very low variety and quality of breakfast, no value for money EUR 313/3 nights etc etc.
View from room, easy chek in.
That was on busy road.
