    Pros +

    • Stunning views, stunning location and very cosy and traditional.Sauna/steam room, hot tub with a Mountain View (€15 extra fee per person to use for 90 minutes) Balcony was very spacious though only had one chair on it between the two of us. No kettle in room. Overall, room just seemed a little dated and could do with some TLC which is such a shame as the place has such high potential.
    • Everything was perfect, even though we arrived super late, they made sure we could check-in easily and the rooms were amazing and at an affordable price, especially considering it is so close to the alps
    • Breakfast was very good, everyone will find something that likes. Personel was very very nice and helpful, especially ladies at reception :)Rooms are cozy, very clean and it's warm inside. Very nice that there is a sauna and jaccuzzi but it's extra pay, But with nice view.

    Cons -

    • Arrived at property and asked whether we could book to use sauna/spa at 7.30. Spa was booked for 8.30pm, we went for dinner and waited 25 minutes for our drinks order to be taken as reception staff were also waiting in the restaurant. By the time our dinner had arrived, it had eaten into almost 25 minutes of our spa time. Chicken was full of gristle and both chicken and veg was full of gristle, under seasoned and bland. However, the mushroom tagliatelle was exceptional and side portion of fries was huge. Staff seemed very over worked doing too many jobs at once. We rebooked the sauna for the following morning only for it to be ready 25 minutes after the time allotted meaning that we only had an hour in the spa, we did feel slightly rushed with the experience but overall it was still enjoyable and very highly maintained area. Tripping hazard in bedroom with floorboards coming apart from one another - reception were notified. Late check-out was offered as a condolence but didn’t seem to have been communicated between members of reception staff/cleaners. Lead to cleaning staff walking in when I was in the shower and my partner was getting changed which left me uncomfortable. Reception staff seemed confused that we were leaving late without paying a late fee. Overall, room just seemed a little dated and could do with some TLC and some slight communication issues which is such a shame as the place has such high potential.
    • nothing comes to mind, maybe the path leading up to hotel, but this would make this complaint against the tectonic plates.
    • If you go there only to sleep is nice place but if you need more you need to find something else. The biggest minus is that you hear everything what is going on around. Your neighbours, especially in the nights if they are talking, every step on the corridor. And the beds are very uncomfortable, It's hard to have good sleep. Restaurant that is open in the evening, the food wasn't good. We try it once and didn't go back. Much better is to find other place for dinner. Pizzeria was closed during our stay. Also water in the room should be a standard, not extra pay.

Very beautiful location with pleasant and very kind staff. The apartments were very warm and cozy

Not as clean as I though it would be, found some stains on bed linen, and some corners and spots were dirty, but overall it was clean enough to leave there for a week

Location and view from the room.

Breakfast room was tidy but not as cosy as the room.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with views of the mountains. Our room had a small balcony. It was very quiet . The check in staff were very polite and helpful. It was extremely clean and functional. The restaurant is good and the breakfast was plentiful. There was some hot food as well as croissants and pastries.

The room is very basic. We found the bed and pillows really hard and the room very hot, so neither of us had a good sleep. The staff at breakfast were very rude and unwelcoming, particularly the man who made the toast. Don’t have anything from the minibar. There is no price list and we had a couple of drinks, which it turns out were very expensive. We felt the whole experience was very expensive for the quality of the room and the facilities on offer.

We only stopped here one night but it did everything we needed it to. In addition, the hotel was very accommodating with us arriving in the early hours of the morning after a long day of driving. Room / bed / facilities were all good, would happily recommend.

Very clean and extremely helpful and great customer service. Also had a great view outside from the balcony and included a restaurant serving high quality italian pizza and other dishes. The breakfast was also a large open buffet that included fruits as well as other baked goods.

Nothing much but it was just a very tiny little far from the rest of the touristic locations to visit.

Beautiful alpine hotel, exceptionally friendly staff, good restaurant (and that's important, cause there aren't many to chose from in the village), seriously the best stop on our road trip.

The only issue we had is that the water in the hotel stopped running for a couple hours during our visit, but I understand it was beyond the hotel's control. Luckily the timing wasn't too bad.

    The hotel was fine.

The restaurant was a huge disappointment, the food was mediocre at best but the attitude of the head waiter was shocking. He was rude, abrasive and totally unhelpful. There is only one other restaurant within the walking distance with bad ratings, so they have you as a captive customer and they don’t care. The second evening I was there, I was prepared to starve rather than experience that restaurant again.

The Location was fantastic with an amazing view. The room was a good size.

The waiter/restaurant manager was very rude. When trying to get his attention to order he would walk past and say "WAIT", then when ready he would.return to the table and say "WHAT". He told one of our group that "waiter means YOU WAIT".We paid to use the sauna and hot tub one evening and the hot tube was cold, we asked if it could be heated and they told us that it's heated over night only and is hottest in the morning. The room key continually didn't work, and had to be reset multiple times during the stay. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms

The hotel and staff were lovely but it was let down by the restaurant food and staff

Fantastic hotel…. But……The restaurant attached, absolutely rubbish. Head waiter so rude, over 1hr 20mins wait for a pizza, while waiting several customers sent food back, my pizza was rubbish, very little filling, soggy doe, service so poor.Thought Italian’s in Italy could make, cook pizza, how wrong can you be…..☹️

This hotel has the most stunning view! I could not believe my eyes everytime I walked out to the balcony.

Restaurant staff was not very nice but it did not make our stay any less enjoyable.

    9EmilePosted on: 6-26-2024

It was very nice very quite place with good dinner and nice breakfast. We had a balcony and a view to the mountains.

The shower is very small so if you a bit bigger person - it is difficult to take a good shower.

The Breakfast was great, good selection from where to choose. Nice location, if you want to visit both Livignio and Bormio since there is only 30 minutes of driving. And the staff was very friendly

    6ArvilasPosted on: 3-10-2024

It was clean and staff was attentive. View is also great.

Hotel is more for those who do not ski or if ski, then in Bormio and go on budget. We were skiing in Livigno and it was worst decision for us because:1. Hotel is really far from Livigno. During the snowy days it is a real challenge for a car driver to get to a hotel and back due to mountainous road; Lots of time wasted travelling to and back from Livigno for which we would have happily paid hundreds more to avoid it.2. There are no facilities for skiers. E.g. there are no ski rooms, where one could not only keep, but also dry ski shoes.3. Hotel parking requires a very good car winter readiness to be able to park without problems or crashing downhill.I can totally see how this hotel is great for summer visitors, but all those comments from summer guests have totally mislead us for winter activities.
