Hotel Motel Galaxy Reggio Emilia

Nice quiet place, outside of town, in lots of greenery. Nice room, great shower, parking in front. Very friendly service. As I travel with 2 dogs, they gave me a ground floor room, highly appreciated. The breakfast was great. All in all, warmly recommended.

Hotel is not situated in a city centre, but very easy and fast to reach by car. Room is large, bed is big and comfortable, bed linen and towels are clean. Spacious bathroom with a shower is very clean too.There are fridge, tv and safe box in the room. The hotel is very warm in autumn time.Breakfast was wonderful, big variety of food, buffet.

Small advice: to offer a kettle on request for foreigners who can’t live without tea :)

Our second time there with our dogs. Lower floors that lead straight outside so less hassle with the dogs. It’s just perfect. The breakfast is divine… the cappuccino the lovely lady makes is the best. Thank you ?

Everything, from arrival to departure. The room and bathroom were large, clean, comfortable and truly value for money. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Plenty of parking. The receptionist checked us in and gave dining recommendations, directions to a great bar. Well skilled person, knows how to cater for his guests. He is an asset to the hotel.

The price, the cleanliness and location to the autostrada.

It is in the industrial zone and I was not smitten with the location. There was some noisy unit that disturbed my sleep all night. It came from outside, but it really affected my sleep.

Mostly as expected. the room was larger than expected. The room and hotel in general were clean and well presented.

The route from the autostrada to the hotel is a bit convoluted but that is not aided by dubious GPS instructions. There was not much not to like.

People at reception speaks English. Breakfast is quite good for the price. There is an open bar with various types of coffees, teas, marmelades etc.

Pet animals are allowed in the hostel and they kept barking all night. There were also babies crying at other rooms and you hear all those in your room. Bathroom was clean but there were some insects. Bed materials are so cheap. Compares to good hostels i saw all around the world and Italy, it wasn't that much worthy

The staff was so friendly and helpful and it was beautiful and very comfortable. We came from Canada and were only there for a night for a concert and it was phenomenal.

Everything! The in house restaurant wasn't open so the manager phoned a local restaurant , booked us a table and gave us directions . Couldn't have been more helpful. We enjoyed our "en route "one night stay so much that we rebooked for our return journey.

All good , but wished the restaurant on site had been open . GPS sat nav took us a very haphazard route to find the hotel which is a little out of the way but that is the gps's fault not the hotel.

Situated in a pleasantly open spot with a large parking area. The receptionists, who spoke some English, were helpful and friendly. Our room more than adequate - it was very clean and with usual facilities of TV and 'fridge. The adjoining restaurant was closed for the evening (out of high-season?) but there were some restaurants in the surrounding area open if one wished to drive a short distance. However, the aforementioned restaurant was open for breakfast and it certainly offered a great range of food and refreshments. Would recommend this, particularly as included in the price.

The first impression, upon arrival was not impressive - seemed a bit soulless from the outside. The same could be said fer the decor in the Reception area. But that is not what matters when travelling great distances.

We liked both the city of Reggio Emilia and this hotel. Helpful staff, nice furniture and bathroom, fridge, classic Italian breakfast with delicious croissants and rolls.

Distance from the historic center (requiredcar), but for us it was not a problem.

Comfortable clean and a lovely little neighbourhoodWe arrived on the day of the Pink fiesta and enjoyed a great atmosphere with a fine pizza

Room stank of cooking food and cigarette smoke from the permanent residents in rooms next to us. Noisy children from the residents also made it difficult to relax in room.

Awful

Our room stank of smoke, the shower was full of mould and there were screaming families that didn’t shut up till past midnight. The door didn’t lock, so we had to put a chair in front of the door in case anyone tried to walk in. While the staff was friendly, we will never book this hotel again.

I liked it only breakfast was so simple. It is a 3 stars hoyel but I travel continously and a lot of 3 stars hotels have good breakfasts.
