Bed&room: excellent

Breakfast: bread rolls of the previous day (NOT of early morning); quality of "cereal" doesn't meet standards ; however, plenty of sweet cakes ... for those who like it

Included dinner good value. Manager was busy but still found time to translate the menu for us.

Hotel is very clean, great service, easy check-in. The location is wonderful in the center of everything and right next to the bus station.

They have a set schedule for dinner so when they say 7 to 8, they mean 7-8

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived seeking to discover a piece of my ancestry and it felt like I was right at home. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Fondo, making it easy to walk throughout the town.

It was very close to my son’s hockey camp. It was very clean. The rooms were spacious. The staff was friendly. They were very accommodating with spa services. The breakfast was nice and the dinner was reliable. It was perfect location in town. Walkable to a variety of shops, restaurants, and activities. Staff was knowledgeable and multiple languages which was helpful for us.

The newly renovated section of the hotel is beautiful. The rooms were pleasant and bathrooms nice. The area around the hotel is very pretty and the town has several nice restaurants. The sauna and swimming pool was OK.

The Palazzina part of the hotel (which we were told was newer) is in serious need of renovation - it was like two very different hotels! We arrived and the room was boiling, with no AC, and it felt very old. We asked to move to a new room which was very nice but again no AC (though there are thermostats which don't seem to work as they keep resetting). The beds were also a little uncomfortable. There are a lot of additional extras you need to pay (£10 extra for a dog, apparently you need to pay extra for the swimming pool, you need to wear a swimming cap in the pool for £3 extra, etc.) Also, the wellness centre is very weirdly laid out - it is nice but not quite as nice as photos would suggest. There were also a group of kids who were doing backflips and diving into the pool, which really took away from the experience - staff didn't seem to care but it was not a good atmosphere. Breakfast was OK but felt a bit cheap.

Received upgrade from single to large double room without any extra charges, much appreciated

The service was excellent and very friendly, the room was nice, we ate at the hotel each night, there was a choice of starters mains and sweets, for a set price depending on how many courses you chose, (very reasonable priced, only €21 for full 3 course plus salad/veg) we had salad all three nights along with either a starter or main, 1st night pasta with venison ragu?then pork wrapped in parma ham ?lastly pasta with pesto? table wine was nice & very reasonable at €12, also loved the pinot grigio, which is my tipple, along with a few limonchello's and aperell sprites. The bar closed at 10pm but you could sit and enjoying your drinks in the lounge until whenever. We was on motorbikes and there was ample parking space in the garage and loads of fabulous roads /passes to go on, we didn't use the spa as we went out on our bikes, I would definatly recommend this as a place to stay.

I am in love with this place. Super friendly and professional staff, great food, clean and very comfortable room. Amazing location — the mountains around are breathtaking.Just in 900m walk — a beautiful lake. Many hiking roads around, many places to visit. I will suggest this place to my friends and will definitely come back :)

The breakfast & the welcome was very good. The room size & view was also excellent.and my partner was delighthed by the indoor pool size & temperature => 32°C

The diner was cheap (20 €) but not to my pleasure - green grey and overcooked.it had the taste of booking a "pauschal" holiday. The veranda door of the room was defect and hard to close.

everything, from the room and it’s view to the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were beautiful. The massage we had done was great too, definitely would suggest booking one in!

the only thing I have bad to say is the overhead shower could have a slightly higher pressure.

Too hot in the room, sound isolation is poor, dinner is available on pre notice at breakfast.

Ideally location could be more remote, it's in the middle of the urban area

This is a nicely decorated and well-maintained lodge and spa in the sleepy town of Fondo. The place was fancier than I expected, the (German) breakfast very good, and the staff helpful. I ended up leaving a night early because I wanted to be closer to the mountains, but I enjoyed my stay. When I stayed in early October, it was well priced too.

Check whether all the spa facilities are open, and map out day trips you want to do, because the driving times can be quite long.

the rooms were all very good: tasteful and cosy with a high quality standard. the manager was very helpfull and made many things possible.

staff partly ignored us - eg at the bar (which closed at 22:00). breakfast only until 09:30 and evening meal until 20:00. own parking not sufficient for the number of rooms

Very nice, clean and comfortable accommodation. Although the owner/manager is very busy, he was always extremely kind and helpful. I can actually say the same about the whole staff, everyone was super nice! And if you are planning to visit the canyon, no location could be more convenient than this... it's literally a 5-minute walk away.

If I really have to be nitpicky, the elevator is always busy and waiting for your turn may take some time. If you have no heavy luggage nor mobility problems, you'll be much faster by using the staircase.

We arrived very late, overpassing checkin time, abd still the staff was super kind. Same case with breakfast, they prepared for me, my boyfriend and friends a very nice breakfast after the usual time the serve it.Everything, the full place is very cozy, the staff is kind and helpful.The room was very clean, same with the bathroom, this is something I always appreciate. And the beds are comfortable and big.You can get a nice rest in there.It is a bit difficult to reach that point, however the view and landscape is wonderful.
