- We stayed at Sassdei in June. The location is good, close to ski-lifts, mountain trails and the town centre restaurants, although views are mostly of the buildings opposite. The spa facilities are exceptional, including three different saunas, a strange weightlessness bed, and sports massages which finally saw off a hamstring problem that had been niggling for months. The restaurant buffets are good and extensive, while the bar serves very decent snacks and is also very popular with local drinkers.
Cons -
- The restaurant is a little confusing, with a system of pre-ordering your evening meal main course, which sometimes arrives soon after you've sat down allowing you to complement it with food from the buffet, on other evenings only after you've eaten all that the buffet has to offer.
