Traditional and family-run Pineta Pastry Hotel offers mountain-view rooms and a restaurant serving Veneto specialties. Wellness facilities are available on site. It is 5 minutes' drive from Marmolada cable car. All rooms overlook the mountains and some also feature a balcony and a traditional stove. Each one is decorated with wooden Ladin-style interiors and furniture. Rooms also include an LCD TV with satellite channels. Pineta Pastry Hotel is just outside Rocca Pietore. The restaurant serves specialties like local polenta and meat-based dishes. All is accompanied by homemade desserts and cakes, and by famous wines from Veneto. The wellness area includes a sauna, hot tub and Turkish bath, along with a relaxation area and a tank filled with cold water. Other services include ski storage space and a garden, furnished with parasols and sun loungers. ‘Access to the wellness center is only permitted to people over 16 years of age. The use of swimming costumes is at the guests' discretion in the saunas. It is compulsory in the common areas and in the whirlpool. Some days it may be closed.’

Sign up for dinner if possible it’s well worth it! We also signed up for a massage and went to the sauna which was wonderful. The view from our balcony was spectacular and the hotel is located near many shops and a little market to buy snacks if needed with plenty of hiking areas. Very close to Marmolada! Thank you we all loved our trip and will be back!

Perfect location, approximately 8 minutes by car from the Malga Ciapela cable car to Marmolada (the slope from Marmolada is connected to the Arraba ski area, so you don't have to drive all the way to Arraba). Very tasty scrambled eggs and a selection of cheeses and hams, great croissants for breakfast. An even better dinner, a choice of 3 starters and 4 main courses, a dessert of your choice for free. All the dishes were absolutely delicious and big enough! :) Very nice and comfortable wellness with a hot tub and several saunas.

A beautiful small family-run hotel with a very helpful and professional staff (huge thanks to Marco for his invaluable support with everything); spacious, cozy, clean rooms, excellent food, and tons of delicious pastries. Free parking. Ski bus stops directly in front of the hotel. The location is a little isolated - it is better to have a car.
Bed? We had a double room, but there were two joint beds, not very comfortable. Apart from this, absolutely nothing we can complain about.
The home made ice cream!!!!! Never had any ice cream so delicious and natural like here. And the pastry shop, the food generally is good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely soundproofed and clean. The spa is cool!
The pillows can be improved, and the shower is a bit small.
