Pros +
- Great rooms. Amazing scenery. Architecture blends perfectly into the environment.Good restaurant. Especially lunch menu is very tasty.Truffle tasting is a must activity.
- The breakfast was wonderful with many options to choose from. The fresh fruits, baked goods and options for omelet/eggs to order were great. The staff always greeted us as we arrived and were always attentive.
- The staff was very accommodating and attention to detail was excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good. A vast wine selection. The location is beautiful, but a car is essential. Orientation of some of the rooms are a little strange, as they don't maximize the views.
Cons -
- Breakfast should be significantly better at a hotel of this price / calibre. The bar should also be better. There is no excuse for pre-mixed coctails at this level. There could be more activities available to do at the hotel (or if there are, they should be better advertised). While the restaurant was good, service staff / sommelier should have a better understanding of non-italian wine. Not enough power sockets throughout the hotel.
- Upon arrival to check in with our friends, the front desk staff took us to our rooms. First to our friend's room then to ours. Our friend's room had a lovely view, with a lovely bathroom. She indicted to us that our rooms were exactly the same, on the same floor, and similar view. Our room was not the same. We were offered the handicap room, smaller, facing the bocce ball court and next to the driveway where every car entered the property. The bathroom was open, with an open shower designed for a handicap/wheelchair accessibility. We requested to move to a different room, but was only offer a room with 2 single beds and no view on a lower floor. We did not request a handicap room, as we don't care for the open concept, and to have water all over the floor when showering. The staff said there were no other rooms available so we didn't have a choice. Would recommend not assigning a handicap room unless it is requested. We did not like the bathroom or the room location. The staff insisted that our room as the same as our friend's room when it fact it was not.
- I am sure that the menu changes constantly, as they grow a lot of their own food, (which is a very high standard) however it would have been nice to have some daily specials to add some alternatives during a stay in order to mix up the menu. There was a constant "gray water smell" in the bathroom (the resort is on its own septic system). It would have been nice to have the bar menu available at the pool (limited menu at pool). One of our friends (a couple) got the handicapped room (unannounced beforehand), which was disappointing, as the only alternative was a no view 2 x single bed room.

Everything. The room was beautiful inside and out, the pool, the spa, the staff.
The property is so beautiful. The design alsoVery chic. Bed is also comfortable.
Not many choices from the in room dining menu. The only restaurant in the hotel also has very few choices in the menu.
Stunning views, peaceful, great service
Suite size was cramped
Everything Service food location and the staff was so welcoming. Rooms are spacious and clean with excellent finishing.
Not staying more than 3 nights
Breakfast and location were stunning
Didn’t like the spa (that needed booking) and the gym. I figured a bigger spa overlooking the hills would have been better. The service was ok.
The restaurant was great and we loved the experiences like the wine class and cooking class. The spa was also a nice touch.
The rooms were small and there was a contant smell of sewage spewing from the pipes. The smell was in our room and in the spa and lobby. It was very off putting.
Property wasn’t the easiest to get to. Though beautiful it was in the middle of no where with nothing to do around it.
The food was something to be desired. We’re in Italy and I’m being served a version of Nutella & cream in pasta?!?! “Aged” beef that tasted like butane, stuffed pasta with an over powering amount of strong cheeses. Breakfast only “fillers” were served and for $700+ a night you are to pay extra for cooked eggs. From dinner to breakfast I was not impressed one bit. I cancelled my stay at the tail end of my trip.
Everything was perfect - design, views, luxury, service and food
Incredible scenery and views! Staff is perfect balance between respectful and attentive. Make sure you go by car as no taxis in area
Location, fantastic views, relaxed atmosphere and nice crowd.
Reception could have been more proactive.
We wanted to relax and it is a perfect place for that. Rooms are comfy and stylish, the staff is nice and helpful, breakfast is mostly buffet and varied and generally the facilities are great.
Only minor things to improve: when you get to your room, you will find a pool towel per guest. Naturally, we would leave the wet pool towels in the baskets by the pool. However, fresh towels were not readily available by the pool so everyday we would need to find someone and ask for some. Regarding breakfast, the options outside of the buffet are not many.
Nice location, comfortable, clean.
Prices of drinks/food quite steep, especially for the region but normal in these types of hotels.
Exceptional construction in the nature of the Langhe. The material used in the room is exceptional. They also care a lot about the environment and they arrange lots of initiatives to be sustainable. Congratulations to the all staff to maintain such a great property. Food was excellent at the Falè Restaurant.
The swimming pool is surrounded with stone/pavements only and it gets very hot in summer. I would have had some trees or grass to freshen up the area.
Rooms very nice and modernGreat bedVery nice staffGreat food incl. Breakfast
That you have to pay for extra egg dishes. Only classic ones are inclusive. I think for such a hotel all extra dishes at breakfast should be included.
Fab property big room very modern staff fab cannot fault it. Highly recommend.
Thought breakfast could offer more eggs for free.
Casa di Langa is perfection. The location is gorgeous with incredible views. Facilities are absolutely excellent. The restaurant is superb for dinner, and the included breakfast is superb with a big range of food and excellent quality. The bar near the reception makes excellent cocktails. The rooms are comfy and extremely clean and also quiet at night. The bathrooms are incredibly nice and well equipped. The pool and loungers are lovely with a really nice view. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Fantastic views, fantastic food, the place is beautiful, central location to visit Barolo Alba Barbaresco La Morra
Some curves to get to the hotel and sometimes it gets foggy
