There was no one there to help with the luggage and no coffee machine or water heater in the room.

This is a nice hotel. Its very big and our rooms were at the back and kinda out of the way. They felt a little old-fashioned. The pool area is nice, and all of the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant, with lovely views and good service.

The breakfast was just alright - could have been better.

When busy, parking is not easy .

Wonderful stay, stunning location with panoramic views. Easy drives to the local towns and wineries. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Pool is fantastic. Enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. Rooms modern and comfortable.

Breakfast selection was lacking.

The breakfast was superb with a hot dish of scrambled egg and bacon plus the cold continental breakfast items. There was a good selection of fruit drinks and water. The coffee was as good as anywhere in Italy, however, you were restricted to two cups but you could purchase additional drinks.

Few facilities

The location is fantastic. The old castle is charming, and the views from the balcony are unbeatable. The staff were kind and helpful in finding us a winery to visit. We didn't have dinner at the restaurant, but a few people we met there said it was very good.

The room is outdated and poorly designed. We had the Superior Double Room. The bathroom (shower) is very tiny, making it hard to move around. There is no place to put anything, and the toiletries are low-quality. Poor breakfast. We arrived an hour before the end of the breakfast time, and many of the items were lacking and were not filled during the time we were there (although we have asked d several times). The service was lacking and very slow. The room has the minimum and certainly not what we expect from a 4-star hotel.

Location was stunning. The hotel was calm, kind staff and with large room. Restaurant was excellent.

The wine we chose was a little young - hence a headache! The food was delicious and beautifully cooked.

The room was spacisous and the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was quiet roomy.

In the reservation system it was mentioned "excellent breakfast". Well that was a huge disappointment. There were hardly any fresh fruits or vegetables, the breakfast room was quite terrible. Service at the hotel was not pleasant either. We arrived quite late and we were the only customers at the time. But it seemed to be difficult to get any information in the reception.In the restaurant we did hardly got any service.

From 10km distance you can see the location looking very special above the hills and completely renovated and new inside. Easy parking. Beautiful place.

First we needed to wait 15-20 min on reception- no one was there. Afterwards we were standing infront of the lift and young cleaning lady just pushed her car and herself in the lift and left us outside !!!!! Reception girl did not react on this at all. Besides breakfast no facility. Airco did not work and pool had no drinks available. The bathroom is very tiny - no way you can turn around there.

You couldn’t ask for a better location to laze by the pool! The staff were super nice and worked a miracle to allow us to stay longer because it is a wonderful place.

Beds were soft by our Italian experiences, but just a tad too firm for us.
