- The place is beautiful as are the surrounds. The interiors design and furnishings are well thought out and quite stunning. Views to die for and great gardens and surrounds. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We booked a white truffle hunting experience with a local expert which was a real highlight of our trip.
- An outstanding location with charming hosts, fantastic restaurant and a fantastic place to dive in a relaxing world.
- Great breakfast. Hot dishes are prepared super quickly. Cold selection is great too.
Cons -
- We travelled in November which is slow season so the restaurant we were told we must booked in advance at the time of booking. When we checked in we were told there was no choice of menu. The 3 items on the menu were not to my liking and so I asked for a simple salad I was told a flat out NO by the chef as there were no salad items in the kitchen. The hotel is in the middle of know where and I was forced to order a dish I did not desire. The dish then was served and was the size of a small appetizer with the price of an expensive main course. The food experience was very disappointing.I understand from the owner that the hotel works mainly in weddings so I suppose one-off guests are not a priority. We had booked a couples massage but after waiting 30 minutes the masseuse informed us the other masseuse was ill and so we had to reduce the time of our massages and go one after the other. That was fine but not the romantic experience we had booked and to be honest the massage was a little on the light side with a lot of instructions to breath in and out which I suppose was intended to relax but had the opposite effect. We asked for an outdoor heater that we were offered at checkin be bought to our wonderful private terrace to enjoy the views in the late afternoon and watch the sun go down only to be told they had run out of gas.
- Everything was great.
- The beds were quite soft for our liking and the shower wet much of the bathroom. Breakfast was extra which is highly unusual given the price

Great breakfast. Hot dishes are prepared super quickly. Cold selection is great too.
Incredible staff recommended and booked an entire day of wine tasting and lunch for us. Excellent dinner each night from their coursed menu. Room and property were beautiful.
Everything was great.
Lovely hotel with lovely decor, lovely hospitality including wine upon arrival and free upgrade and well decorated rooms. Wonderful outdoor spaces to relax and wonderful Piemonte view. A lovely relaxed hotel. Surprised they charge an extra €20pp for breakfast which is highly unusual and unheard of in our extensive travels including in this area where hotels are usually extremely generous with breakfasts. That said, we do recommend the hotel as a lovely break.
The beds were quite soft for our liking and the shower wet much of the bathroom. Breakfast was extra which is highly unusual given the price
Amazing straff and customer service, delicious breakfast, amazing restaurant, breath-taking views and overall the most relaxing place to be. The rooms are so comfortable and beautifully decorated. This was our second stay at La Villa and we will return again and again. One of my absolute favourite hotels.
Beautiful grounds. Great water pressure on the rain shower head.
No bathroom fan. Room A/C didn’t work well. Cracks in the room door so didn’t seal completely and allowed mosquitoes to get in. Staff were not overly welcoming which was unfortunate.
I can’t say enough about the property. I read the previous reviews and thought, no place could be that good, kind of called BS. Literally, the nicest place I’ve ever stayed, there was not one single detail missed. The sheets, the windows, the lotion, the views. There are no words
I liked absolutely everything. We are coming from Vermont (USA) and Pei (Canada) both dreamy places of the world and this place was amazing. For example, I got there from Switzerland and felt like they knew me, their communcation beforehand was incredible, it felt like a high class dirty dancing! Minus any kids (but I’m sure they are welcome, I have a darling six year old at home but mama needs a break) and fantastic dinner
The staff was very helpful, friendly created a relaxing environment, and the host was very personable speaking to you every guess as often as possible.
Nothing to say
The location was lovely, the staff and hotel itself were great. The owner is amazing and she did a great job with the facility. I was a little disappointed regarding the lack of wine production and substantial upcharge for surrounding wines (a 9.50€ bottle being sold for 24€). I enjoyed my time here but would not stay here again and can’t fully recommend it unless you are looking to spend money for a fancy experience.
The location was great but they made it seem like they were a functioning vineyard or had a cellar with substantial wines; they do not produce wine. They had a significant upcharge for surrounding wines and you are unable to find a bottle for less than 24€, however visiting a nearby vineyard revealed that the vineyards sell their wines for all less than 11€.
Our experience at La Villa Hotel was amazing. We were there to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and it was just perfect. Nicola and the team were always on hand when needed, friendly, professional and attentive. From a glass of prosecco on the terrace upon arrival, through to the personalised touches in our room, lovely lunches, chilled out time by the pool, glorious sunset dinners (the food & wine were also superb!), fabulous showers with toiletries made locally especially for the hotel, super comfy bed and delicious breakfasts - our celebration weekend was exactly what we wished for.Looking forward to our next chance to return.
Didn't like having to leave to come home. :) The weekend was just perfect.
staff were so helpful. room was beautiful, spacious and well equipped
wish that dinner menu had featured more vegetables/salads
Lovely place, great room with a terrace and wonderful pool area. The staff were kind and helpful and the food and wine top class.
Everything! If the location itself, the rooms, omg the food, the pool and decoration, the nice staff - everything was just perfect in this location.
Nothing!
This hotel is absolutely the best from the best! If I could give a higher mark then a 10 I would have given it without a doubt. For me this hotel is the Italian dream. From the warm welcome of Nicola to the cozy and spacious suite, the fine food, friendly staff, the luscious plants and flowers, beautiful pool and stunning views at the valley. It really felt like a home away from home. I talked to another couple who was at La Villa for the fourth time on a row! We will also return to this warm and elegant hotel! Thx Nocola for a fabulous stay!
Can’t think of anything
just a great place to relax. comfortable stylish and tastefulvery friendly and helpful staff a great restauranta great location for exploring Piedmont
Nothing I can think of
ambience , courtyard dining, very well equipped room & bathroom, excellent linen, good but limited choice dinner menu , excellent wine list.
no bath
great facility. fabulous rooms. wonderful staff. great food and drinks all day.
The hotel is very beautiful and very well decorated. it is well located and the pool is great !
Our room was located between the restaurant and the reception and was therefore pretty noisy, even in late hours. The staff was always helpful in that regard and asked guest to stay quiet when we called.
Idyllic location and perfection across everything. Huge attention to details. Amazing suite with large terrace. The bed was super comfortable. Staff is super professional and the owner is extremely kind and on top of everything. Wish we could stay longer than just a night. The restaurant is also excellent with an insane view if you eat outside. The pool and the sun loungers are also fantastic.
absolutely nothing - it is perfect
