    Pros +

    • Nice pool and beautiful restaurant. The staff is very welcoming.
    • Everything. Friendly people, great restaurant and location/setting. Very nice swimming pool.
    • Beautiful quiet location, with friendly and helpful owners, who spoke good English. We are keen walkers and they gave us several local walking suggestions. Restaurant highly recommended. I am gluten-free, and they provided home made gluten free cakes for breakfast - delicious!

    Cons -

    • Our room had upstairs neighbors. The authentic wooden ceiling is beautiful but it doesn't provide any sound proofing. When your upstairs neighbours wake up you'll hear their voices and each of their steps.
    • The rooms looked a bit dated but then goes with the rustic style so not complaining much. The bed and pullows was not as comfortable as we'd like. The floor tiles could do with some scrubbing since they look like they're much darker than they should and the grouting have turned black but overall the place is clean.
    • Small room with aging bathroom facilities. No air conditioning.

Great hospitality, with owners accommodating our yoga practicing with garden music and conversation.I was positively surprised by this part of Italy visited by hikers walking the Rebel's Route, with local restaurants offering great food for really good value. Italy far from international tourist paths, one I have not experienced before.

The rooms were spacious and the interconnecting rooms were perfect for us with our kids. The outdoor area with play area for the little one is great. Breakfast outdoors was also really nice. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was amazing, the cheese and meat platter was a starter was also very generous. The weather got a bit cooler during our stay so didn't get to use the pool much but the kids still had fun swimming and splashing in it on one of the days. Overall a great experience and stay. Highly recommended specially for familes with kids.

The vibe of this location is amazing. Staff is very friendly- food is exceptional!

The check-in/ check-out times are not very generous. It would actually be nice to have more time to enjoy the facilities. Late Check out cost a fee.

Small and cozy family driven restaurant and hotel. Very friendly personell, fantastic food, nice and quiet surroundings.

The add said room would include tv but didn't (not really a problem). No air conditioning made the night a warm experience. Add could include info on opening hours. Pool 09-19. Dinner 19.30-21.

The ideea that it is closed to a castle, with good food and wine. Plus you had a pool on the listing . The pool was there, but closed . The facility is like in the 90' s in Italy, very few updates (new water sockets, by new I mean probably last 5-10 yrs). Rooms for family, 2 adults, 2 kids, but what do you expect..all in the same little room, with one queen bed and two single beds. You have a small kichenet, but no dishes , forks, knives, etc...

If you open up a place to receive qguests, please make sure they can enjoy the stay, that they havea decent amount of confort. Please sleep in those rooms and if you enjoy it, you find that they have enough power outlets, the floors umderneath and on the corners are not full of dust, that the furniture is usable, and has utility, then you should great and receive guests! But if you do it only for the money, please don't ruin other people vacations.Let them choos correct locations, for their requirements. This room was about 140 €/night, reduced to 110€ by Booking, for my Genius plan. It wasn't expensive, but it wasnt cheap, for the secluded and very isolated location it offers. The outdoor place for eating is poorly put together and you had to cross through mud to reach the stone steps and go under the covered patio, which it had some pretty old tables. If other clients can confirm/deny what I said, please do so.Owners please take in consideration that your clients, when in vacation, don't care if yoi should have a day off.Hire someone to replace you, or say you are close for the day. I only have maybe 10 days of vacation per year, what if in my trip I find only owners that are off for the day and don't provide sevices? NO air conditioned.Poor lighting.

The accomodation was very nice and calm. We felt very comfy in rooms and in garden and simply the energy of this place was great. Sleep on village is very refreshing and satisfying. Our room under roof was very spacy and comfortable. It was a great choice.

The location is quiet and serene. The staff were super friendly.

Breakfast could be slightly kore substantial

    9MartinPosted on: 7-24-2021

Great place for a family with dogs. It's an added bonus to have a restaurant on-site. Even better when they serve really good food and they have a long wine list.

    I think the check-in and check-out times are a bit squeezed (6 PM - 10 AM).
