    Pros +

    • the dimension of the room, the history of the building, and the restaurant in the property.
    • Everything was amazing! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable; the building was just beautiful with a special call out to the breakfast and the dining rooms, which were well appointed and had such historic charm. The best attribute was the hospitality and kindness of Dana, who was always available to answer questions and to care for the guests as well as Antonio, whose breakfasts and Apertivo selections were perfection. We were totally spoiled and enjoyed our downtime relaxing at the Palazzo as well as our time exploring the area. I look forward to staying there again.
    • The building is renovated and just awesome

    Cons -

    • I didn't like the fact that mistakenly i booked it twice. the hotel was pretty vacant, and they charged me a room and a half. They could have been more business oriented and understand it was a mistake.
    • There was no downside or disappointment.
    • The fact that the air conditioning was not powerful enough for the room so basically we slept wet because at night the air in the room was hot and not moving

This is the second time we have stay with Dana and her partner. It’s such a lovely B and B in an excellent location. Dana gave us a lovely room which was immaculately clean and comfortable. Her partner is an exceptional chef whose homemade croissants, cake and breads really made breakfast something to look forward to. Dana also must get a special mention as she is always ready and willing to go that extra mile to help her guests. She has made multiple restaurant reservations for us and they are always excellent, showcasing region cuisine at its best. We will be returning next year when we visit our family in Alessandria.

Beautiful historic renovated building in a peaceful traditional town. Our room had it's own terrace which was perfect to enjoy the evening. Dana was very kind and professional. Breakfast was a lovely experience.

Basically everything. Location in a very sleepy town with stunning views . We had the Giovanni suite which was beautiful and spacious with great views. The breakfast room was absolutely stunning and an absolute surprise when we walked in . The owner Dana was so welcoming and friendly and spent a lot of time showing us around and telling us the history of the building and spoke excellent English . She organised a restaurant for us nearby which was also very good . High,y recommend. Free onsite parking

A little tricky to find and streets are quite narrow if you have a big car . No on-site restaurant at the moment but owners are working on it .

It was full of charm and original features but fully modernised. The best of both worlds. The hosts were so helpful always going above and beyond. Most fantastic breakfasts ever, the homemade croissants were amazing.

We were looking for a comfortable room in a nice location as a stop on our way to Toscana. Very positively surprised with this place in Piemonte! Host was super kind and the breakfast was fantastic! Too bad we had a very rainy day and couldn't appreciate much o walks but room was comfy and cosy. Good stay and might return.

    I didn't take breakfast

I didn't find the bed very comfortable.Room was adjacent to the main door of the building and was a little noisy with other guests coming and going.I shall definitely stay there again, a lovely sense of history

The breakfast (Italian or International) was one of the best I had during my 3 weeks in Italy with several choices to make, and great espresso. For sustainability reasons they do not offer a buffet to avoid waste, which is a great initiative. Breakfast was served in a grand room with sky high ceilings which transformed you back in time. The property manager Dana is such a delight, so warm and friendly, and readily available if anything is needed. The room was spacious and well equipped with a view into the internal courtyard area. The bathroom was lovely and bright with an elevated view over the town. Car parking was right next to the property in a private piece of land only available to guests.

The town is lovely but very quiet during the day so not a lot to see, although there are a couple of restaurants that open for lunch only (with good reviews) that I didn't get to try because I left to explore the surrounding area. Unfortunately there was nowhere in town to have dinner so driving was required at night to find a meal. Although there was the option to order delivery from a great pizzeria in the next town if you're stuck. I believe the property's restaurant will be re-opening in January 2024, which should be brilliant - the chef is amazing, so that will definitely be a huge bonus when it happens and I would love to re-visit to experience that.

Very enjoyable stay. Great large room and shower. Good parking. Dana was very helpful and friendly, and took care of us with great care and attention. The hotel is very dog friendly. We had a superb recommendation for a restaurant which was a 5 min walk away. The breakfast was high quality and great selection. Highly recommend.

    Nothing - all was good.
