Pros +
- The place, the location, the owners, the staff, the room, and the wonderful garden and stunning view.
- We have been coming to Castello di Razzano for many years, always bringing friends and family, and constantly recommending it to others. This is an absolutely idyllic spot - just magical. The hosts are gracious, the rooms are big and comfortable, the dinner and breakfast outstanding. Although we came here regularly for many years, it had been nearly 10 years since our last visit and we found it now better than ever. A wonderful addition is the restaurant within the castello enclosure. An elegant dining experience accompanied by the perfect wines from the estate. In our view there is just nothing to fault about his place, even on a cold rainy late October day, strolling around the grounds with our little dog was a pleasure.
- We have traveled to over 100 countries and territories, and Catello di Razzano was one of the best overall experiences. The hotel was very attractive and had retained much of its historical aspects. Our room was over 800 square feet on two floors with a nice balcony overlooking the immaculate grounds. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend a multi day stay there.
Cons -
- The only thing we could say is that we found the restaurant a little disappointing. Not the decor, that's beautiful, but the food. It's not bad, but nothing exceptional. This didn't prevent us from spending a great evening.
- The showers in the rooms are very small and hard to use if you are a normal size man/woman. The restaurant menus were not posted in a timely manner and if you ate there nightly menu was the same with possibly 1 item change
- Wine tasting instructions are confusing.

Facilities. Spacious room. Right in the middle of the vineyard
Wine tasting instructions are confusing.
Location is a bit random but property is super nice. Pool, restaurant, winery. Big rooms.
Everything! The property is beautiful and serene. The people are beyond kind and accommodating. The food is wonderful and their wines are wonderful also.
Breakfast rich, staff very friendly and helped us to make our stay exceptional
Giulia was fantastic, the grounds were lovely. Food exceptional. Breakfast lovely.
Hostess who checked us in wasn't friendly, didn't mention items to do on the grounds or around. Bath towels were frayed.
Butifol place.amaizing people. So nice view.Lovely roomsWe hope to come again ?
Everything. Every detail was absolutely cared for, stunning views, nice pool with lots of space in the surrounding, well curated garden and dreamy castle court.
We’ve spent a great week at the Relais Castello di Razzano! The refined ambience, elegant & spacious suites and the amazing & kind staff made our stay remarkable! Every detail was carefully thought of - from the fine dining & amuse bouches, wine choices to the tranquility under the open sky!
The breakfast was good. We did enjoy the exzeptionell view of the mountains and enjoyed the peace and silence. The homemade pasta is a must as well as the wine produced on the property
We could not use the pool ..
The facilities are simply magical, the views beautiful and the surroundings an experience of their own. It is located in a rural area, away from everything - which is a huge bonus, if that's what you are looking for, We will return, to spend another long summer weekend there - it is definately worth the trip.Comfortable parking was also a bonus.
The weather let us down, it was unusually cold, but we will return one day for a long summer weekend.
Beautiful place on top of a hill surrounded by wineyards. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and well decorated. The owner is very amicable and helpful.
The property was amazing! The activities like the picnic are so well thought out, and they let you rent bikes to explore the area! The wine was exceptional! But most importantly the staff, they were kind, attentive, well informed and extremely helpful! Must go
it was a stay to remember forever! absolutely stunning place, beautiful garden and great atmosphere. we felt like home. and wine tasting is something that you definitely should try!

old fashioned but in a comforting way, stunning country location with panoramic views across the Piedmont countryside, spacious room, lovely pool, good breakfasts, excellent food at the restaurant, superb and inexpensive wine, beautiful gardens, great assistance with luggage - we will be back.

lovely renovated buildings modernised but with many wonderful ancient features, beautiful views of hilltop villages and rolling vineyard valleys
