Great breakfast, nice place, very good staff

Food great, staff great, room as expected.

Had trouble finding it. No address, no instructions, hotel name on building was high on the building and nearly impossible for a driver to see it. Put some signage at the level of a drivers eyes and put some landmarks in the ads, like "if you reach a certain street you went too far." Or "If you pass this place you're almost there."

In a lovely position slightly above the road around the lake, with excellent views. Lovely people who made us very welcome. Comfortable room and a delicious biscotti gift when we left.

It is in a quiet position which might not suit everyone.

It was ok but more luke a hostelNo aircondition and no electric fans so open windows is a must.?Hotel is on the street and with open windows it feels like the cars/motorbikes are in the room....Unbelievable not to be able to provide electric fans.

Absolutely recommended family run hotel in a beautiful place. The owners and staff were so kind and friendly, we felt like at home. The rooms and the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was plenty, and erverything was super celan. Very convenient to have the possibility to dine in. Hope to return soon!

Not a big thing but may be improved: I personally prefer shower gel to the normal soap.

Nothing not to like

the house is managed by a mature couple, the wife does the arrangements, the service, and the husband runs the kitchen. His cooking is excellent with delicious taste, lunch and dinner as 3 course menue .. all accompanied with friendly words and a smile of hostility.

Excellent hotel a few minutes away from the lake, with stunning views from the room.The restaurant offers authentic local cuisine superbly prepared and served with warmth and care.It made us feel like staying with relatives, it has that cozy home feeling.

Great view, the hosts are down-to-earth in a lovely way and offer an classic italian atmosphere.

In the single room, please change the mattress into a new one. In my opinion, I would've payed 10 euros more a night for a room like that, if the bed is equipped with a modern mattress, not that one from the 1970s :))) At least I got an extra blanket to save my back a bit...

Stunning location on Lake Iseo with breathtaking views from the window of our room. From the high position you escape both the humidity from the lake and the noise from heavy traffic. The staff are extremely friendly, always on hand if you need anything and the abundant breakfast makes this hotel great value for money. Enjoying the traditional, typical food from the area on the restaurant terrace above the lake makes dining here a truly delightful experience.

Great location, views and restaurant. Very Kind staff. Our flight was delayed so we arrived very late at night in the pouring rain, someone was waiting for us with an umbrella and a smile.

The area is very beautiful with breathaking views of the mountains and lake. This was the view from our bedroom. Food was also very good and worth the price. Service was excellent and staff and owners very helpful.

The bathroom was small and the bus does not pass regularly. Best to rent a car.

The view from the hotel is spectacular. The staff are amazingly friendly and warm (and I don't speak Italian) and our room (#5) was spacious and comfortable. The outdoor pergola style dining area overlooking the lake makes a lovely setting for meals. Breakfast was indoors because if the substantial buffet laid out with freshly made coffee to hand.

Nothing, except I personally don't like hard pillows. I have seen comments on the decor but to my mind it was, all part and parcel of the charm and experience.There is a very large electric pylon in front of the hotel but with the view on hand you soon stop seeing it!

I stayed 5 night on Poggio D'oro. The host is Roberto and his family. They are super profesional. Roberto has "charm" he is every moment careful , he is there for his guests. My holiday at Poggio D'oro was SUPER.bonus:-the room was super clean (they change the towels every day)-I recomend you to eat the menu of the day- is delicious-the view is breathless

Twin bedded room very very small. Shower tight. Balcony on side of building over heating generator!

Although I am a senior traveller with no Italian,the kind couple connected me to their daughter who speaks English by phone and we were able to understand each other. The property is a little far from shops and facilities and we were often in cloud. Nevertheless I thoroughoy enjoyed reading and relaxing in my cosy room with restaurant facilities which accommodated my gluten allergy.

Traditional Italian style hotel, we were impressed with the amazing view, quite and peaceful. Staff was very helpful .... we arrived at 2.30pm they managed to serve us a wonderful meal although the restaurant opens till 2pm.....Well done

Pillows are a bit stiff and flat

A lovely traditional family run hotel with amazing views of the lake. Our room had a lovely private balcony and lake view. The staff at the hotel are kind, courteous and professional. Great fresh breakfast selection, which they kindly made available to takeaway when we checked out very early to catch our flight. We ate in the restaurant one night which has a three course meal offer, for just 20 Euro. Overall the hotel is traditional and quaint which in our opinion added to the charm.
