Third - excellent restaurant at waters edge with beautifully presented tasty food and a good menu. Fourth - spacious room, spacious bathroom and excellent toiletries. Honestly, it was a haven after a very busy 2month holiday.

- There is NOTHING you could fault. This property has been lovingly curated by the owners over an extended period. Being a business owners oursleves we could see the love and attention to every detail - they have given all to this property and it is so tasteful and whilst being so well designed mixing old with new, it exudes charm and you instantly relax. If only I’d known how wonderful it was, I’d have booked four nights and used it as a base for discovering the Lakes as it’s only 30mins from the jostling crowds. We will surely return after visiting Switzerland. I do hope they have family who will takeover - they surely must need a break.

Beautiful garden to relax in with a book and a glass of wine overlooking the river. Very gentile and welcoming owners, so we felt almost like visiting family:)
