- We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment. Location by the lake is excellent. The swimming pool is very nice, and well maintained. There is a shop for groceries a few minutes walk away, and also cafes and restaurants a short walk away. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. It easy to get onto the main road to explore further.
- Proximity to the lake is the big advantage. They wete able to check us in late but be there before 10pm. Appreciate that the share bathroom is really offering multiple small bathrooms rather than only shower eith no place to put your things.

- There is only a two-ring hob and no oven, grill, toaster, kettle or microwave, etc. The kitchen equipment is OK but could do with more utensils. There is no air-con but that is to be expected for the price; you do get two electric fans. The staff were OK but not very approachable. One of our fans did not work and we asked for a replacement but it never turned up although we asked twice. We fixed it ourselves in the end!
- It's simplistic and I cani imagine to spend longer time in such bungalow - wardrobe door didn't work, only 1 plug next to the door, space is basically beds only.

The bungalow was big enough for two people, well accommodated with kitchen and all tha facilities to make breakfast. There were no blankets and it was very cold at night. The place is very clean, Great view of the Como lake
It would have been very nice if they put some warm blankets in the wardrobe
Great location,The kids loved the lake and the pedalos and canoes etc were very cheap to rent.Great restaurants in the village which was 2 mins walk.
The location is amazing. It's a lovely quiet site so often had the pool to ourselves. Hired kayaks from the site so fun and super cheap. Everyone very helpful. Shop at top of campsite. Bring water shoes as the lake is quite stony and takes a while to get deep. No longer a need for swim caps in pool which was good. Accommodation and facilities slightly faded round the edges but great value for money and always spotless.
+Location+Activities for children (sand playground, pool, ...)+kitchen was well equiped
-beds in the mobile home were not much comfortable, but ok for 5 days
Sorico is a peaceful little village adjacent to the river feeding into Lake Como. The site is small and wherever you are on it you are basically just a minute from the river. Its beautiful with the mountains as a backdrop all round. It's way s.aller scale than the site I went to at Lake Garda, its cheaper amd feels less commercial..The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It's good for paddleboatding, wind surfing, swimming, or a family with young kids as thf river is quite shallow in the marked areas. The cabins are basic bit comfortable and serviceable. The photos of the site don't quite do the cabins justice. It's lovely there!
No complaints at all!
The hotel was right next to the lake which was lovely. Great list of restaurants nearby and there was a bus station near which took us straight to Menaggio in 40 minutes. Staff were fantastic, so polite and helpful. Great value for money - what you get is what you pay for!
The location is definitely far from the likes of Menaggio, Bellano etc. so you do have to travel by bus to get there. We didn't mind the commute but just to let others know - you have to pay by cash for buses here! And if you want to purchase bus tickets, you should go to the bar near the bus stop of this hotel (they also sell amazing coffees). We were very lucky as a local showed us how to do all this (shout out to Dominique!). Other than the bus travel confusion, this area was very nice and the hotel was just great value for money.
Poor
Rude camp owner. Old-times furniture, terrible uncomfortable beds, no blankets. Camp swimming pool available with swimming cap only.
Location , in front of the lake
Not hot water inside the bungalow.Bungalow not cleaned properly.Staff absent minded, gave us the wrong key to the bungalow and it was available only one keys
As a regular camper I must say It’s fantastic camping place and staying in huts. We had hut 20. In the hut was triple big bed and bunk bed. Outdoors under the roof you have your private fridge, gas hob and sink, table and chairs. toilet/ shower area was always clean and tidy and well maintained. strong water pressure and no issues with water temperature control. You have swimming pool access which is 1,40m deep and big!! there are kayaks and pedalo boats for a bargain 3 euros for hour. There is a lake just outside the premises and a beach with a shallow safe place to swim. Just behind the property there is huge supermarket there is absolutely no need to use a car :)
you will make a use of mosquito candles ?
I absolutely loved our stay here, I came with my two children, we felt safe and welcome. The staff were friendly and informative, could not have done more for us, we really enjoyed staying here, I would recommend if you have children to book somewhere with a toilet but we did make some amazing memories running to the shower blocks in the thunderstorm like I used to as a child, the location is perfect, the pool and other facilities are very clean and well maintained, the breakfast was lovely and we met some lovely people. My children won't forget this stay, I wish we had stayed longer, the views are simply breathtaking. We had a cooker and fridge and we made lots of memories camping like old times
Stunning location with amazing views and a great mix of camping, lodges and private rooms. I can imagine in summer it’s even better.
The shower had no curtain or protection so the bathroom gets soaked when you take a shower but that’s a small niggle by comparison!
The lady at the check-in was very nice. She spoke little to no English but we communicated very easily. I liked the kitchen outside and the very spacious beds.
Dinner is quite expensive, but that is of course optional. :)
Nice place. Very good location. Very clear. Pets friendly. I am recomending :)
Nothing to Say.
The owner and staff couldn't do enough for us.Over and above there duties.Food was excellent and very reasonably priced.Location right on the Lakeside, safe and secure.Swimming ideal to relax in.
The staff was friendly and explained about the campsite and the nearby grocery store well. The view over the lake is gorgeous and you can access it right from the campsite. We also loved the outdoor kitchen with all the amenities that were present.
The bed springs were very squeaky on one side of the double bed which affected our night's sleep. There were also no mosquito screens which made it a bit hot in the room, but there's a fan present to compensate for that.
The kitchen of our bungalow was well surprisingly well-equipped. (Plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, stove-top coffee maker, dish soap, sponge, one kitchen towel). The fan in the bedroom was greatly appreciated. The bathroom was nice with private stalls that each contained a shower, sink and toilet. Staff was very friendly, but not a lot of english. Market very close by that had all the little things you need and some great food too.
The things you should pack: A sharp knife, cutting board, extra kitchen towels and some candles or a lamp for the table at night. And wine glasses if a normal glass does not meet your standards. ;-)(The underside of the bunk bed is a bit dangerous - metal bits sticking out.)
near the lake and have a good walk near the area. there is a nice pizza restaurant near the hotel which staff recommended to us. staff are helpful and friendly. free parking.
it has very basic things for a short stay. it was very cheap and i booked to try a different camping experience and it is not something i will try this place again. those who do camping may find it quite nice though.
