Pros +
- Exceptionally clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast.
- The breakfast was good.
- Friendly staff, quiet place, good breakfast
Cons -
- The air conditioning in our room did not work and their staff, except Patty, provided no help and were rude and dismissive. The room was on the 1st level above the road which, although not busy, was a through affair for loud motorbikes which made having the windows open a bit loud…but then the person in the neighboring room began smoking at their window which promptly filled our room forcing us to shut one window completely and limit the others. Additionally there was a very bright street light across the small street forcing us to lower the metal shutter 3/4ths of the way cutting off even more air. Needless to say, the lump down the middle of the mattress where they pushed two twins together, rough sheets, and crummy pillows didn’t inspire a good nights sleep either. The shower was pretty small and there were no usb ports in the room. Would not recommend unless you are in the 3rd floor suites.
- The AC didn't blow as cold as I prefer, but not a big deal.
- Small shower, noise outside in the early morning because of hotel location, and hallway carpeting needs desperately to be replaced.

Friendly staff, quiet place, good breakfast
We've been there for just one night. It was a pleasant stay. Very cozy with a delicious dinner and a decent breakfast.

Nice to have breakfast and dinner there. Bathroom recently renovated.
Small shower, noise outside in the early morning because of hotel location, and hallway carpeting needs desperately to be replaced.
friendly staff, pleasant room, nice breakfast, good value for money
Apartment room all good
Parking place it's too crowd from the guest in restaurant
Filling & healthy breakfast, friendly & helpful staff. Clean & comfortable room.Free off street parking. Good value for money.
Hallway carpet is showing signs of were & tear but that was just a minor comment.
Good breakfast and dog friendly stay with welcoming staff
The location is awkward for car parking. A neighbouring property had a large ‘yard’ dog which went crazy at me and my dog whenever we passed the fence which was often, as it was next to the outside stairs which led from the rear of the hotel. The owner of the dog should be reported but this is too often accepted as normal in Italy.
Due to certain circumstances, I had to change rooms, but they accommodated me graciously. The breakfast had a wide variety and the bread was very delicious.
Some rooms are good and some are bad.
Good value for money, concerning the room size, rich breakfast (though without cereal), friendly staff.
The accommodation is quite worn, and cleanliness was not exactly up to standard, especially the kitchen utensils.Despite the large bathroom, the shower cabin is relatively small.Even from the top floor, there’s practically no view (two rooms face directly toward the very close neighbouring building). The nearby parking area is confusing.
Impressive view, big rooms, great food. A lot of balconies.
Only minor thing to improve - it was no lock in the bathroom.
Old cozy hotel, very big number with good amenities.Wonderful breakfast and very good personnel. We also had dinner in their restaurant and it was great
The restaurant was good as it had a lot of options. The hotel/restaurant catered to Gluten-flee guests as well. However, breakfast is done via a ‘list’ and not a ‘buffet’ as seen in pictures.
The hotel decided to ‘turn’ off the Airconditioning at the middle of the month (September) as a ‘guest’ has mentioned they were cold. Thus, we had to sleep in a room that was 40 degrees Celsius. The hotel advised us to just open the window; always nice sleeping with mosquitoes. Wouldn’t sleep there again. The room was also very outdated, no mini-fridge and the shower-head was broken, having a shower was difficult.
Friendly staff...clean big rooms with plenty of hot water...nothing to duslike
Good
The food in resturant at the hotel at night was disaster. Cold food and not testy. We were very dispointed and couldnt eat it. It was not good smell at the room .
Breakfast and location were nice
The bed was uncomfortable and the cover was dirty (old blanket). The room smelled really bad like smoke and old stuff. Our room was situated next to where some of the staff was sleeping, due to the thin walls we could hear them talking till late in the night. In the morning they woke up very early (7 am) and started talking again for more than one hour.
The room was clean and more or less okay! The lady owner was very friendly, smiled all the time and could speak English! The location is great, very close to the Menaggio village of Lake Como and the price is fair for the region! The village is lovely! The window blinds worked very well! The breakfast coffee was very good as well as some of the charcuterie, such as the prosciutto were great!
The WiFi didn't work for quite some time; it kept trying to connect, but it took a few hours to achieve it... The shower didn't work well, the pressure was either too much or too little. The hairdryer was old and took too long to dry long hair. Even though the A/C was powerful it didn't cool the room, but it could only freeze the direction towards which it was looking. The breakfast had limited options.
Good spacious room. Staff were brilliant especially in the restaurant. Food was very good quality.
Nothing really. A very enjoyable experience.
Huge problem with communicating in any language other than Italian. Attic rooms away from air conditioning can be a bit too hot. Decent breakfast.
